I do not accept, by doing so I am bound to a contractual obligation. This is not as it reads it is in fact a cop out and by deriving such a vague contractual obligation in context it actually means nothing at all. Oh wait it does it wishes you a "good" winter solstice? I say good but it doesn't even technically wish that... Awesome, a wall of text that amounts to absolutely nothing. Happy holidays Edit: upon further review it is contradictory in so far as to say one is obliged to accept even tho the first line says one isn't to be obliged. Unless one does not accept it in which case it means nothing at all.
No support, your subject is "Merry Christmas" yet you "wish" us, the "wishee" a "good winter solstice" making it unrelated and misleading for the reader. You have also made it seems as though there is some fancy contract you must follow when really it means **** all and is pretty useless.
In all fairness Christmas is the outer shell of the winter solstice, from the big feast to the trees and lighting we have plastered all over our house even Father Christmas could originate from pagan belives. Christians only took the idea and basically said, hey we have no idea when our lord and saviour was born so lets match it on the pagan holiday and steal it. The rest of the stuff was added long the way from giving gifts to commercial companies having a said in how Christmas should look. Fun fact, back in the 1900s coal was given as a present for the poor families to keep warm, nothing to do with being naughty or nice.
Yeah.. I thought I was gonna laugh.. then I didn't. Then I see more people who 'retire' and are back in less than a month
