Support with much of the Op. Owning a clan is a responsibility. Teaching noobs to play requires experience. So noobs owning Noob clans equals a disaster and lots of cries for help in wc to help finish EBs they should never have started. This does need looking at please Devs!
Thank you for staying active and on topic. I just wanna clear up somthing i am not trying to limit the new players to do what they wanna do. The point of having requirement for them to open a clan, in my opinion will enhance the other new players "experiance" by having a good clan taking care of them. This is the only reason i think we shld limit new players for opening a clan. I would tend to agree. After quite a few new tutorial suggestion threads, things did change a bit (thanks Mango for those threads). I remember us discussing a newbie spell, which even made it into the game. The tricky thing is to have a tutorial going into deep enough details without putting impatient players off... In the past we had a lot of discussions going on about how to guide newbies into the right clans after finishing their tutorial. This is crucial.
Apologies for the rant from an alliance member Haj. There are too many inactive clans clogging up valuable server space. They should be deleted the same way as inactive allies. Support
250b to own your own clan? Watch all new accounts quit. The problem isn't with clan cost. The problem is that we have people with 25b laying around, that go make clans for new players. If you dont like that newbies own clans, farm them til disbanding. Its not that hard. It'll even help with game inflation.
My point is not to stop new players from making a clan but regulate this in order that these new player make that with a minimum of experiance and knowlege of the game so the other players joining them enjoy the game. New players having as a goal to be clan owner is great and i support this but it have to be done the proper way by somone who will be at least able to explane the game properly and make the new commers grow and thrive in the game
Everyone is lowballing this. Clans should be 50 trill and requires full background checks and a 30 tril security deposit in case you damage the clan beyond repair. I recommend the following; High interest mortgages from a selection of 2 KaW banks. THE ability to set rent for the clans. Property taxes And the ability to have a 911 button for police (OSW clans) and a ambulances (Merc clans) TLR I really don't care. Let noobs have noobs clans.
How about a test, like a basic KaW test. Something that shows you know the game enough to run a clan. Make it a requirement to buy a clan, with gold or nob.
Isn't this what the valiant people are for? Everytime they see that gray name pounce on it. Tell them who you are, how to get a good start and Please explain ally importance.
The tutorial teaches new players to build lands and attack other people. Thats enough to get a clan of 100 people to do the same. If you want EB specific clans, ok, make them 250-1tril in price. Thats really the only thing that requires experience on this game, is how to not throw pots on NQ or FOD Everything else is learnable by trial/error though battle list.
There's no issue for new players to own clans. Let them own their own clans and be discouraged to all hell from growing. Meanwhile, the rest of the player base can enjoy not seeing these noobs in wc constantly spamming, posting irrelevant things to wc discussion, and asking for volleys even as they are overpriced.
To the devs, Please just create a better, faster tutorial for new players. I could help with that development if you'd give me a job - aspiring coder
Well OP, honestly, I think the nob is the probably, you can create a clan for just 10$, which I don't think people think is a lot. Which it isn't. But noobs don't want to spend a whopping 25b on a clan when they can spend rl money. Go figure right? Haha. So I think the price increase on nobs will help a lot. Make it 500 nobs, or even higher. That way only rich noobs can create clans
