That's because newer locks are becoming more complex, outdating some picks. Many picks can still be used in a wide range of situations. For example, a ball-pick is my "go to" pick (the one I carry) and can be used to open most door locks, a few padlocks, and a few others. This lock would be totally useless on ace locks (I am not paying $50 for that -.-) but it is still a good pick. The locks depicted in the picture seem to be old fashioned and would be very simple to open within a few seconds. These types of locks would only need the most very basic of picks to open. Any one of the picks in that kit can open that lock.
Not losing, just getting locked out :lol: Also notice how I said "hundred" not "hundreds" meaning I have not exceed two hundred uses for actual situations.
Say it's exaggerated all you like, I'm fairly sure there are people who get locked out or forget their keys somewhere more often than me and wish they could get in while I can.
