Why do I play? Because I enjoy it. Remember Asian time zones weren't a problem until about S3, when we got constant No-Matches. This might because every war was a lame round war, asian time zones weren't given a chance to do indi. The problem now is it is hard for a Aussie/Asian to compete with his North American counterpart because North Americans are given multiple opportunities to war reasonable times, and events end at times that severely handicap the Aussie/ Asian player. You're attitude is basically that it can't be helped, and Asian players like me should just **** off and find another game. Is really the best solution for this? Indeed I am considering ******* off and quitting this game, considering how exhausted I was after the PVP event. But I still like Kaw. If there was an Asian-only Kaw game out there, I might play it. However, ATA is pitching KaW globally, they have no trouble taking my hard earned yen, so unless they plan to return my money, they should try and listen to what their loyal asian customers are saying. PS. There has never been any proof offered by ATA that a 7pm Singapore start time Indi war would not work.
I would say that my attitude is more, "Dude, don't burst a blood vessel over it." I can understand being frustrated, but not to the point where you're beating your first bloody against a brick wall. I lack the time-in-game to comment about how things "used to be," but I accept your description and memory. Personally, I am surprised that we all play on the same server. The other global games I have played often have regional servers. Perhaps that would be a solution, but I suspect that $$ would again be the prohibiting factor. Continue tilting at windmills if you must. For myself, should I ever become this disenchanted, I will simply move on to other endeavors. Much luck!
Burst a blood vessel? Basically you're just saying be quiet and take it up the ass. Some zaft members cried and cried to bring back round wars, so there is precedent that shows raising a stink works. I've played and enjoyed this game for four years. It's an important part of my entertainment life. So if something changes that I see as detrimental to my enjoyment, I'm going to say something about it. I played Kaw for 4 years and for the first two and a half of those there was nothing ( except for maybe the ASW) that made time zone a determining factor over whether someone succeeds or not. However with the PVP promo and this week's horrendous EE time schedule, PVP is basically telling Asia/Australia that it does not value our business, which is quite sad. All because ATA are to lazy to get off their asses, make a night shift, so we have one bloody indie war at a reasonable time for Asians.
I will say this. Asian / Australian customers have much larger contingents in other PVP games I play / have played where there is an equal playing field for all players. So if anything it's foolish to not try to cater to them also cause they also spend $ and have hardcore player bases.
Dude the devs are based in pacific time and the majority of players is usa/euro they aren't going to change times for a small minority of ️kaw players so get over it. You think they haven't done studies to know what are peak player times and what times the most people are likely to war?
They promoted a "war down under" time earlier this year, this war was meant for Aussies and Asians. The problem is that the time they chose meant that the target audience were either still at work or on their way home from work. So no, I don't think they have done studies. Aside from that, we aren't asking for any of the other war times to change, we just want an indi war added in that 9 hour gap so that we have a chance to war at a reasonable time like the rest of the world.
So instead of tending to the majority of their customers (the Americas) they should make the American players stay up n the few asians get a good jump? Makes alot of sense
For your own info ALOT of asians play this game 2/10 of kawers are actually asian And no the rest are not americans The rest are mostly, finish , belgians whatever American take like 4/10 of kawers. You american think you are the majority in everything which is proven wrong over and over again
A company that offer a global service should work 24/7. The fact that ATA is based on Vancouver should have no impact on enjoyment of users based in "wrong" time zone. What's next? Shut down servers at 5pm PST?
And about US players being the majority in KaW i don't know what to say. I don't have any data about this. What I do know is that there's Singaporeans only clans, piony/pinay clans, french clans, german clans, heck even Romanian only clan. I don't know any US only clan. Euro/Asia world chat is more alive than US/UK at any hour.

What's hoser?, never heard this term before, also the shard hunt, no one could sleep any night and especially the night and day it ended for the shards , I'm in America and I had to stay up all night cuz if I didn't id get farmed out of shards. Your not the only one who has delt with that. The wars on the other hand, they should make more a for everyone for sure . Even a lot of them are out of my time range .
Support . The war schedule now also isn't great for everyone in usa either . I only sleep about 5 hrs a day and still can hardly make these war times. 1st war slot I'm getting my kids up and ready for school and commuting them to school and gf to work. 2nd and 3rd war slots I miss at work then I can possibly make the 4th war slot if it's an Indi and still get my 5hrs of sleep before its time to do it all over again. I agree the features in this game that are played world wide should be available to all the players that support it world wide. Why shouldn't it? There should be b2b wars all the time imo. But then yes there is the problem of having so many wars that there aren't enough players to fill those rosters . Simple solution . More Incentive to War!!!!! During season you have everyone doing as many wars as possible because it is worth the time and money to do them . For both players and devs. If devs starting dropping all these extra little treats in war like seals and chests and Xtals!! Then we would see rosters full every war
Where is Asia? The only place I know of is Canada. And AMERICA, the flying eagle of liberation. And A far away place called yorup where Canada goes to win wars and where our queen lives.
