I cast the spell , that excludes me from event. Where did all my shards go? I know I lost them, but did they just stop existing or go to anther person or something? Also, who got the first shard? Where did it come from?

 

I believe your shards are just... Gone. First shards are probably gifts from dev. When you login on first day of the event you're awarded 50 shards. Also if you hit inactive account without any shard, you can still gain shard.
