Banner wars *Sean893 gave me the idea of this with his story. Warlords all over KaW raise their banners high into the air, signaling an ensuing conflict that can only be settled by the divine right of war. The crimson banner of the Conqueror represents kingdoms destined for endless war. Gives 2,000 attack and 1,000 defense. (Assault) The serene green banner of the Monarch represents a balanced kingdom. Gives 1,500 attack and 1,500 defense. (Mobile) The stalwart blue banner symbolizes the strength of defensive kingdoms. Gives 1,000 attack and 2,000 defense.(Defense) The Idea - These wars will go off of what you have as your equipped banner. Each banner has a sole goal: Conqueror - The goal of this class, is to launch offensive movements into enemy lands/Objectives. (Full attack) Monarch - The goal of this class is to lend tactical support. They are able to defend and attack. (slight% loss for being both) Defender - The goal of the Defender is to defend the objective and other kingdoms. (Full defense) In order for this to work, it will require a few things: 1. A War map. This war map will look like our lands and function like a checker board. It will be a turn-based movement, swapping from both sides. You will only have a few minutes to get orders from WC and act. 2.A new notification system. One that informs you of incoming and outgoing attacks on your kingdom. 3. A life bar system. You can only withstand so many attacks before your army crumbles. 4. An actual WC position. Modes: Defend the castle - One side will be the attackers, one side will be the defenders. You must work together to capture the castle/repel the invasion. Battlefield - Open battleground. The goal is to completely demolish the enemy force. Pros - A new aspect of PvP. Cons - ??? Really good idea, but what about EBs, people could easily abuse if they were the Conqueror. EDIT NVM, wasn't reading lol
I really like this idea. Especially the map thing. I feel that a LOT of players would want to partake.
Took me a few minutes to see what games you were talking about. This actually could come from about 4 - 6 games, you could say. But, I feel this could be much more/better.
Think of a check board. (Or the way our lands are.) The WC would first place you how he wants you. After that, it falls on the player to listen to him. You'd have the C banners running around the D banners wrecking everything. I don't know, ideas?
As cool as it sounds it would need a lot of support and time to implement all these features and I think most of the resources are going into the EEs atm, it'd be cool and I like it but it'll need a lot of support to get this
Then we are on the same page. Lol Basically, this will be a new type of war - Banner wars. The banner you sign up with is the banner you war with. Alright. So, you have a team of 15 v 15. You are matched with your opposing team and you are awaiting the count down. During this period, your WC will be placing you on the "checker board" type of map. The battle it's self would be like a game of chess, knock out all the pieces. I hope that helps you understand a bit more..
I understand that much AJ, but I just don't understand the specifics. Movement of pieces, how it's done? Who does it? How to knock out pieces? Almost sounds like a new game entirely like last guy said.
Here's what I was thinking: You get unlimited moves the entire thing but you get two action per turn. So, like a move and an action around that be it attack/encamp/heal whatever. Your total combined stats. (Not your ally stats, the entire thing.) That will be your total strength for attack or defense. C banners would need to work together to hammer the defending banners while being defended by their own D banners. And they better pay me..
