Why was this even implemented?

  1. You are wrong about that. PhpBB owns the forums but just the service. The actual control over what goes on is in ATA's hands.

  2. I'm wondering when people are going to learn and stop with "ATA don't own forums, phpBB own forums" idiocy. phpBB owns nothing. phpBB is just forum package based on PHP scripting language. Saying that phpBB owns forums is same like saying that Adobe owns PC version of KaW because its a flash application.
PhpBB its an open-source tool. What you do with this tool is your property.

  3. +1

  4. I'm not hating Ace, I'm simply saying Whining ain't gonna change their minds.

  5. That's cool, I can handle being wrong once in a while. It's how we learn. Ability to edit posts from ios for example would be great. but I've always dothat from PC anyway and had no real issue. But ata may review the set up with enough constructive feedback. It won't hurt to ask as long as people don't jump on the usual abusive band wagon that gets us nothing but ignored.

  7. Whining wont change their minds yet the decision was changed as a consequence of this thread...?

  8. Lemme rephrase: Most of the time they don't change their minds.

    I will die in a hole now

  9. The decision was discussed because of the many issues that popped up with people needing to edit guides or their threads in general.

  10. Yeah, highlighted by this thread on the first few pages 

  11. Not exclusively guides, just posts in general.

  12. oh and the delete feature is gone

  13. And it's gone again..

  14. Why was this feature taken away?
And why is the sub forums being bumped into active topics, I've had to deal with the awkward moment of people seeing my testing of a thread

Also deleting posts don't work either :?

  15. Applying for moderator
