Greetings again my friends, I was upset to see the number of animus boxes left over after this promo that could not be used. Players worked hard to earn them for the chance of free upgrades, and have spent many nobility points to raise those chances, just to end the promo with many left over. I direct you to exhibit a. Apple iTunes App Store Terms of Service Guidelines, This is the guideline that App Developers must follow when submitting Apps to the iTunes Store - https://developer.apple.com/app-store/review/guidelines/ There are many items here that this app seems to be in violation of, but one is close enough I feel it is worth mentioning. 11.9 - Apps containing content or services that expire after a limited time will be rejected, except for specific approved content (e.g. films, television programs, music, books) Not to be confused with: 11.5 - Apps that use IAP to purchase credits or other currencies that expire will be rejected I feel that a bad attempt to loop hole the iTunes ToS is at play here, or just a negligent project lead that forgot to check up on this before implementing the promo. **DISCLAIMER** I am not a lawyer, I have no training in understanding ToS, and may completely misread/misunderstand the terminology. But as a layman, I feel it was worth a shot. I am not accusing the developers of violating the iTunes ToS, simply asking that they consider letting us continue to use the boxes, and not allow them to expire. Thanks
The boxes you got were free. You didn't have to spend real money to obtain them. I know plenty of people who got boxes with very few actions. The boxes can expire. They were a free gift to you.
I agree with you -- You are not a lawyer and you do not understand TOS. There is no violation of the TOS. Nothing to see here. Move along. Cheers. Kage
Everyone complaining about losing boxes could have decided to spend $1 to open them if they felt it was worth it. There was plenty of opportunity and forewarning that these items would be taken away.
Not necessarily a violation, however I would like to see them extend the expiration date of animus boxes by a week or two
I think what's done is done ... To extend the opening of Anubis boxes now would be unfair to those who spent nobs already to make sure their boxes were opened on time.
exactly my point, the nobs spent on golden keys was revenue gained from a deadline that shouldn't have existed in the first place.
You were given a chance to get a box that gave you free bonuses. So LOGICALLY, you would limit the usage of such chances to once per day for free, and since they are a business, they are going to find a way to hopefully make some money from allowing people to pay to open more than one per day. They didn't violate a single thing in the ToS, they had a bonus to increase revenue and to give the players something extra, obviously those that pay more will get more reward. It's a free to play game with in app purchases. You're better than this logical.
Logical, it was clearly obvious that we were meant to have left over boxes. that was the "logic" behind the emphasized cut off date and time. we were all given a possibly of opening atleast x amount of boxes given within the time frame posted.
no they shouldnt cause u have to buy a gold key to open them at any rate which u pay for. u use the other ur limited to 1 box a day
