I don't know if this has been suggested in the past, but I'm sure there's more than a few of us that are sitting on bronze bars in quantities exceeding 5-figures or that would simply like a quicker way to buy/unload bars. I'm suggesting a system that includes Silver and Gold bars (and if KaW inflation allows it in the future, Platinum bars) =====Cost==== Silver bar - 300,000,000 Gold bar - 3,000,000,000 Platinum bar - 30,000,000,000 ====Selling bars==== As with any other item that sells Silver bars and higher would be subject to the standard 25% taxation that bronze bars are, you would be able to trade in 10 bronze for 1 silver, Upward trades only would be allowed tax-free allowing people to migrate their bronze into silver, silver into gold, and gold to platinum. Downward trades would be disallowed.
I actually like this idea, only for the nostalgia aspect. I think we have all played old mmo's with copper/silver/gold coins. I think this might be a nice little spin on that. Even though it adds nothing to the game, it would be a nice touch. But let's face it, this won't happen. Not unless you had to pay nobs for every transaction.
I think more would invest in bronze but that 25% tax is a tough pill to swallow. I do like your idea though. I also agree that changes need to be made to pots as well.
I personally would rather have a bigger limit to buy/sell bronze bars at one time than adding silver and gold bars. Down with 500! Support for 501!
I've said since day one of bars that bars should be a fluid commodity. Price moving with the market. Lots being sold, price goes down, lots being bought, price goes up. And I like the idea of different materials and higher price points. I think both these changes would bring an interesting aspect to the game.
What if you had to unlock them like bb say silver at hf unlock then gold bars at all highlands and platinum at all hf?
