i really don't think you should bother complaining about it. i've had several boxes. i've gotten nothing but crux chests and 40 limbs. i don't think i will be buying any more keys. a seal seems like a better use of nobs, unless you have more luck than i have.
I do and can still "shell out cash". If you can't, that's your problem and maybe focusing on RL than a game would help.
Dude I hate the one a day too but it is a reward where you don't need to pay to get it. It's not a big deal to open one chest a day. Imagine if you had a hot streak, you could do so much with a building token. Or you can get a seal and pay for your upgrades. As long as you use it at a smart clan not some of them with only like 3day passes(not gonna mention any).
Spent 3$ on the golden keys... now some people may have gotten some good items but all I got was 40 limbs and a crux chest... I would spend 3$ for a 50% better chance at a seal or a building token... all the people in cc of my clan say all they've been getting from the golden keys has been limbs and crux chest... none of the great stuff...

Yes, you could save money. However its a what 3/100% chance of getting the desired prize? Support op, reduce the timer on regular keys and raise chances to get a legendary drop with the use of a gold key. This will make non paying players happy while still encourage massive nobility points purchases. Simple answer to everyone's problem.
