New Player Ally Issue

Allies for beginning players has been an issue for quite some time. Seeing this still as of recent trying to help new players I propose the following idea...

Now not to start an entire line of spells to kaw, but I believe the best way to overcome the Allie issue to new players is by having an "Ally Apprentice" spell.

This spell activates after your tutorial when beginning kaw. It is a set value not seen by players and acts as a bought ally. The set value is set by devs for one reason. This spell lasts for either a certain time limit, or as I like a certain cs limit. This let's the player grow without the need of looking for more allies for max plunder during the time or cs limit.

Once either the time is reached or as I like more, the cs limit is reached, the spell drops off being the player can now (hopefully) be at a stage of size to have earned enough gold, to begin buying allies from the ally market.

This also will allow new players to focus their gold from vollies normally from WC, to use strictly on build rather than build and allies (when allies exist).

That sums up my idea, if those that support please contact your friendly neighborhood feedback, or simply support this idea with your reasons why you think it would be a good addition. Constructive critisism is also appreciated but trolling is not.

  2. How about a timer on the spell that lets the player know when their time is up, or how you like it the cs is close to being reached. That way they can save enough gold for that last upgrade plus an ally.

  3. There has been numerous threads about this. Would be nice if kaw would even acknowledge one damn time there is a problem. What does it say about how much they care about the long term stability of their game when they won't address a roadblock in sustaining new players.

  4. I support the idea, i think the tutorial should really go more in depth about ally plunder as well, new players never really understand how much money they get from allies compared to their plunder

  5. Dead I agree like all other spells if it was time based they could check their spell and see the time left as the spells do now. I still like and stand behind the cs limit though, only the fact it would be level across the board for those that can play daily compared to those that can't.

  6. I agree swift I see too many selling what allies they can get a hold of just to upgrade, then exiting their max plunder. This would relieve that issue.

  7. I like this idea. It's impossible to keep a small ally for more than a few minutes

  8. I would like to give all new players the FC/GAW starter pack personally.

Let new people actually play the game

  9. Troll, yes it is lol this issue really needs resolved. The issue alone creates instances of new players getting frustrated and leaving the game in a short time.

  10. That's a good idea,Troll. It would benefit kaw two fold. It would increase odds of new player retention. Also it would allow them or alts to hit hte sooner increasing their profits. Brilliant idea so it won't happen.

  11. I think a major issue all together is the tutorial, now that i think about it i dont think its ever been changed? And does it even mention clans at all? Haven't really looked at it in awhile but i remember starting a new account and thinking its completely useless to have a tutorial for quests and battle lists, yet not explain clans or epic battles that are a major part of kaw nowadays

  12. Yeah when I volley a new player I volley them to 150-300b, it's only way they have enough to buy an ally.

Of course I'm selfish and my primary motive is a volley transfer.

Got about 15t of new players spread across my alts lol.

  13. Woot woot troll thanx for contributing to the issue XD and hey I admit I use to do the same but I stopped seeing the impact it had awhile ago

  14. Everyone is mooching off of my idea..

  15. Maybe the beginner spell (the new grey one) could actually have some use, such as this ally bonus. Maybe also add in something like a small plunder bonus for them (5% or something).

Possibly also it would be useful to have some way of making it a lot easier for beginners to find clans and clans to find beginners, maybe another tab within the allie tab where all people with the nooby grey spell can be seen, regardless of price.

As for a noob looking for a clan, maybe devs could create a whole new clan called "Beginner Clan (or similar) which again, will appear within the clan tab under an area called "Beginner Clans" (in tutorial maybe show where this can be found). However, these clans could say, only run t1-3. (Possibly include a maximum overall stat limit for the clan and remove t1-3 for all other non beginner clans, that way horns may be used to help beginners a lot more?)

Sorry I know, went off topic a bit there... Ok so I think I just went totally off topic from the first line, I got carried away. Similar sort of idea tho, helping beginners, so cant be a bad thing :)

  16. Having posted all that, I now read rusted knights post, little bit different to what I said though I think? sorry if none of that's original^

  17. I can support op idea

  18. Support! This would defiantly help new players
