Slow down on wifi and 3G since updating to ios8. iphone 5 user going back to iOS 7 this weekend once home to plug phone into pc !!
I've had issues with slowdown in iOS 8. iPhone 5C running 8.2 right now, was 8.0 till yesterday. Sometimes actions take minutes and other times instantaneous. My old iPod touch running iOS 7 runs continuously smooth with the same level of wifi connection as my phone so it is an issue with the device. Didn't have an issue before 8.0 though.
Yeah the update was cool and all-- for about a day... now it's all leggy again . Thanks for trying though ️
"Lag"? Try to turn off the parallax effect. Settings-general-accesibility-reduce motion "ON". Slow wifi? Disable WiFi networking. Settings-privacy-location services-system services-WiFi networking "OFF".
Ipad 4 !! This is absolutely ridiculous!! How bad this slowdown in a time like this is unbelievable !! My messages will not send and ATTACKS are too slow !! Way too slow !! ALSO I cannot copy and paste now????? Please FIX this ,at a time like this it is very important
IT TAKES MY KEYBOARD 5 SECONDS TO PULL UP AND WHEN I CLICK TO PULL UP A PROFILE IT FREEZES IT IS FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!!
I downloaded the 8.0.2 update this morning but I still see slow actions like most of the other iOS users. Repetitive actions avg. between 1 to 5 seconds each on my end which makes it hard to do anything, let alone spam an item phase on any given eb. I can however now post directly into any form of chat from the emoji keyboard. While in the emoji keyboard and trying to scroll through chat history, I also no longer have a blanked out chat history that used to occurs constantly. I am still seeing PM and CC posting errors in occasion. As far as application crashes are concerned, I have not experienced any of those. The hardest to deal with is the 1 min. troop unloads in a given eb.... Scouts Bars take almost 2 min. In closing, I do have the latest 1.68 version of KaW released on Sept. 23rd. I'm not sure if any of this helps, but I use an iPhone 5s.
Even after Apples new update iOS 8.0.2 and kaws most recent update. The lag in the game, almost makes it unplayable. Takes several long seconds to pull up a profile, if it even comes up, about 50% of the time I will get an error. This make me being able to war impossible, no war = no health crystal purchases. Also a problem commenting in chat. Needs fixed soon.
To the players; Obviously it is expected that there will be issues with a new OS update, and that is not ATA's fault. But honestly have you not learned yet that this happens every time?? Clearly ATA is a relatively small team and does not have time to perfect their update by the time that the OS update is available, so maybe next time if you don't want the issues don't update. After many years of this game I can assure you this is a common thing for there to be a bug after the launch of a new game or OS update. So maybe next time think about and let other people update first and then you won't experience any issues.
