PvP - Moral based idea (+ Bonuses & Lb)

  1. Since PvP is becoming lesser lesser incorperated into the game, what if.. a moral based lb was implemented, you gain say + 10 Moral by completing 10 successful actions on an opponant (Via Battle list only to stray away from open moral farms or "omf") as you reach moral tiers youre rewarded with crystals, inferno, aqua, mith or seals based on your moral rank, if you have unsuccesfull incoming, you lose a smaller % of moral, say -2 moral, also you'd have a set amount of times you can gain moral off a single indivigual per 24 hours, lastly, Spies gain more moral off spies and less off attack builds, vise versa with attack builds on spies.

    It's a good idea and there are plenty of ways devs could improve pvp using bl. Problem is they don't give a **** about anything that isn't directly tied to them making money. There's a reason all they do is diddle around with ee, give hunts that bring in seal sales and blood rains that up xtal sales. They completely ignore everything else. **** ata.

    It's also be nice if there was some kind of morale indicator - shows how active the player is in PvP and whether or not you should really fear em

  7. maybe op was just referring to having the moral high ground? nothing makes one feel quite so self righteous as moral authority.
     
  8. Support. Something like this would be great to see - where rewards / morale points or whatever could be earned through Battle List strikes. Maybe call it 'dread' points or something, since morale points suggests hitting the BL is 'bad' (which it isn't).

    I had a similar idea. I called it player prestige. It would be visible on a player's profile and would be dropped or lowered based on a win or loss in PvP actions; on the battle list. This would also be based on the EE wars a player has won. Every player would start with 1000 player prestige points.

    For example, if a player won 5 attacks against a player on their battle list, (this is based on the nature of the battle list. Each time you hit your news button, you're put on the battle list.) they would get 10 or so player prestige points, (I'll start abbreviating to PP.) 2 PP per successful attack offense, if an attack offense is failed, a player would lose 1 PP. This applies to assassinations, steals, and attack OFFENSES ONLY. (The reason I am not including scouts in ANY of this is because if you scout someone, you bypass their spy defense pots) Now for attack, steal, and assassination defenses. For a successful action, again, not including scouts, against you, you would lose 1 PP. For an unsuccessful action against you, not including scouts, you would gain 1 PP.

    Of course this is my spin on your idea and the devs would probably change numbers.
