This idea is focussed on reducing the number of clans that cant finish simple EB's, thus helping new players to find a training clan that will help them learn how to play. A good first experience should convince more newbies to stay. My thoughts on this is simple. When a clan is disbanded, the owner is payed a small portion. To start a clan costs 25B. I propose the small figure of 1B as the refund quantity. This makes it very expensive to exploit the procedure of making a clan, passing it to an alt/newbie to grow it faster, but enough to convince these miniature Kaw players to give up the failing clan and join one where they will actually learn and grow. I want to hear your thoughts. Is the refund too low? Do you think this might help? If you think this won't help, why?
Then people could purchase a clan, pass it to a newbie to be refunded and they would have enough to upgrade a significant amount too quickly
no support- anyone making a clan should have a plan, and plenty of support to follow through. One person coming up with a name for a clan doesnt make a good clan. It takes a group of like minded people with a specific goal to make a good clan, war, osw, eb or otherwise.
Elite, Conan, legend - I agree. Most clans are made these days just to get the achievement. After that, they are useless and are frequently given away to anyone who wants it. This is one issue adding to the problem
I cant say I agree with any purge, several clans are "set aside" for specific reasons. Just because a clan doesnt keep a full roster doesnt mean they should be purged. I do agree however, that there are quite a few that would be better off merging. The only thing stopping them is pride(understandably). On another note, if 25bill is such a risk, then obviously you have not played long enough to start a clan.
I think there should be a refund but only to the person who first bought the clan so there will be no abusing it to give alts free gold
