Hi all, first forum post here so be kind lol. I've seen a lot of speculation about plunder bonuses for pvp etc and we've all seen that taunting plunder bonus 0% stat on our equipment so just wanted to throw my thoughts into the mix. I propose a new equip drop (or creation through a blacksmith, I'm not fussy) where the equip comes with no attack/defence stats at all, and initially with a very low plunder bonus - say 0.5% - as it's only benefit. The equip would be for one of the main slots where traditionally the biggest hitting equip has gone (hand or offhand) so would mean that to get the bonus you have to sacrifice a portion of your bfe. This brings in a bit of strategy, players can choose what they are going to prioritise most. Now in terms of enchanting/upgrading the plunder equip, in a perfect world it'd be pretty sweet if the plunder upgraded automatically depending on your actions - especially if it could be set up so that it only took pvp or battle list hits into account (yes i know this is exploitable but so is everything to a point). It could be set up so it upgraded automTically based on hits (like an achievement) or alternatively you can enchant the normal way BUT set it up so that the success rate is lower and the chance of dropping levels on failed attempts is higher - basically make it so expensive that the better option is hitting. It could upgrade to say, 5% plunder bonus maxed out, which would make a decent improvement to plunder, but each playe has to decide whether they want more gold or higher stats. If you had more than one piece of plunder equip you could carry on increasing your plunder bonus (maybe a maximum of 12.5% across all equip, but with one that gives 5% and 3 that give 2.5%) but each item you have means your stats drop more. Anyways, just an idea, all the percentages i've put in are pure guesswork on whats appropriate, let me know what you think and apologies if others have already thought of this (or better ones lol) - peace out kawers! ️
Id rather devs come out with complete sets of equipment for each eb and once you have a complete set you get a small plunder increase for wearing it Different sets yield different plunder increases
Support. It will be a good idea if they use the trinkets slot for this because it makes more sense (how does a crown or necklace add to spy/attack or spy/defence.
Definitely support. I have thought about this is exact thing in the past. This suggestion had most likely been brought up already but still worth supporting.
Better would be based then equipment thet give bonus plunder and max up to 5%, because there are already enough plunder increasing buffs.
