Back to our Roots Opening message: I noticed that AT has been filled with PVP ideas lately, so I've decided to come up with an idea of my own. The main aim of this event is to benefit the developers in terms of profit and those seeking PVP. Event Details Duration: 1-2 days Players involved: Those who will choose to participate in this event EBs: None PVP: Must Rewards: Spells and Equipment (Suggestions for rewards are welcomed) Description of Event: 1 week before the actual event starts, players may sign up to participate in the event. Those who do not sign up will not participate in the event. At the start of the event, players who have signed up are transferred over to a number of clans, depending on how many players are participating, based on their CS. These clans will be named by the developers. In the clans, players are NOT allowed to start Epic Battles of any sort. Your newsfeed will show the other clans that are similar or match your clan's total CS. These clans will be your targets. A system war will be initiated and the PVP event will officially begin. Players will only be allowed to hit the players in his/her clan's target clans. Xtal limit will be increased to 48 per 24 hours. One CANNOT leave the assigned clan for the duration of the event. After 1-2 days, depending on the duration of the event, the clans that emerge victorious in overall plunder will be crowned the victors of the event. Prizes will be given out accordingly. Here are my suggestions for the prizes: 10% plunder bonus for 4 weeks (stacks with other plunder bonuses) : Given to all active members of winning clans. Special gauntlets: Given to the top half of the clan (in terms of total plunder earned) Special cloak: Given to the top quarter of the clan (in terms of total plunder earned) Special arms: Given to top 3 of the clan (in terms of total plunder earned) Special Off-hand: Given to top player of the clan (in terms of total plunder earned) Achievements: Up to devs (The plunder needed for each reward will be judged different across various CS.) The items needed to enchant the special equipment will be drop at the rate of 1 per successful action during the event. How this benefits both players and developers: The xtal limit per 24 hours during the event will be drastically increased. More xtals will be brought. For players who seek PVP, this event will satisfy them. Note: I'm still considering the way pure spies' actons and rewards will be calculated. Here are 2 possibilities that I've thought of: 1: Different rewards for pure spies based off of their successful actions and plunder (excluding scouts) 2: Same rewards based off of pure spies' successful actions (excluding scouts) Do tell me which one you think is better or maybe suggest a new idea. We have EB events, which reward equipment which took RL 50 to earn in previous seasons. A pvp would only encourage the old ideals of what this game was traditional about. Much respect OP, best idea I've read in awhile. Support!

I wouldn't mind donating 5-10 seals for a cause such as an event like this tbh. However In the past, farmfest and country wars were also player run, but devs did reward the finalist themselves. They just didn't want to organize i presume. I just want things to be refreshing and fun again, I think this would do just that.
Does nothing really to gain my support. Looks like a drawn out Individual war that will have more issues than fun. Still won't support off system pvp. Sorry but No Support. I do not want to deal with another year of system war updates and moaning.

Yes, that would definitely be better. But devs won't be able to benefit from that as less players will be hitting HTE, which means less seals will be bought. There may be a slight chance that devs may implement the idea, but I don't see it being too soon.
This idea horrible and even excist called individual war. Its not pvp its actually war u described. Pvp= player vs player not players vs players. Thats a gang up! Osw.
Not sure what you are trying to say so I'll respond to what I interpret your message as. Yes, if you want PVP you can just attack players anyhow. But the thing is that this event will encourage PVP. The event doesn't have to be organised using system wars. The system War system is just for calculating the total actions and plunder of each player.
All they need to do is make PvP pay around 75% as much as HTE. That way people can activity grow from PvP and people who don't want to risk angering others can still hit HTE and make a little extra (they pay for it with the seal though). We need some way to kill inflation anyway PvP is the only way
