Double Gold Off Battlelist

Discussion in 'Ideas + Feature Requests' started by Cruz, Aug 8, 2014.

  1. Time for PvP

As many others have suggested the events geared towards ebs primarily has made the stalemate we all face even worse. Now the developers over the past year or so has ramped up their events and what not. However, not once has any of these events been made for pvp at all. Now like many other ideas pvp rewards can easily be abused, and I doubt the devs will not take a chance at hurting their income.

All I am proposing is once a week or however often the community seems fit is for the battlelist only pay 2x more than normal. This will not last a few days straight or anything by allowing once a week it gives the eb fairies time to prepare to bank their gold, but will still be able to lose any that day. I am sure many others including myself will even purchase a few xtalls. Of course the people who decided to war that day will be off limits. This is not a major coding job or even takes much planning. Hopefully this will allow the devs to please the majority who are wanting advances to be made to things other than ebs.

  2. The devs wouldn't make any money off of it. Plus that would be a **** ton of work for them, because there are different payouts, from different kingdoms, so I support, but devs probally don't.

  3. I am no coder by any means, but I do not think it would be that difficult to implement.

  4. I rarely take an interest in these topics, but wouldn't an easy way to avoid people abusing lucrative pvp rewards be to do this "2x gold" thing at completely random points throughout the week?

That way, nobody could plan/organise for it, and you'd have to check (by hitting people) when it was active or not.

P.S. I never read these threads, so if this has been said before I wouldn't know.

  5. Battle list is for 2009 noobs. Just go hit someone off of wc and stop whining about how much gold you make. Real warriors don't play kaw for gold.

  6. Why is not make for PvP? Because PvP players are too cheap to buy xstals. Jon an EE clan and don't skimp on the xstals.

  7. Shut up frog. Coming from a HFBC large account with are EE4? And you don't care about gold?

  8. Frog I've had my fair share of ee, which I'm sure you have as well. Just because you classify this as "whining" like you do mostly everything else doesn't mean it is. It's a proposed idea, and can help kickstart pvp even more.

  9. Wasn't frog at iG in osw?

  10. real warriors? I didn't know they was a direct way to play this game. Some enjoy 1 vs 1, while others love ee. You're right some people should not need an incentive to hit someone, but the way most players are taught to play that wasn't lucky to join a osw clan, and learn can even have more reason to try it out.

  11. If they say it's too hard to code in for double battle list hits why do they have a mith spell that has 50% chance to make them pay double?

  12. And he's gone.

Anyways. I don't see anything wrong with the idea but it doesn't really do anything for people with specific targets outside of the battle list.

  13. Well if it was one day a week or so it wouldn't have to be restricted to just the bl, but many would just farm their alts for the extra income. If it's off the bl you can at least expect a chance of inc.

  14. Santa i recall devs saying that they can't make their system distinguish the difference between battle list and not. So any and all attempts or ideas for battle list stuff is completely invalid and a waste of time... but pretty much all community ideas have proven to be a waste of time, its all dreams

  15. Really Subtle I did not know that. I figured they would have been able to figure out coding by now to make that distinction.

  16. Why not lock the ebs down for 6-7 hours randomly...less coding...same result.

  17. But support to PvP double gold or psioneggsfeathers every time you win an attack . But really, they need to do something.

  18. Triple the "battle list" gold and most people will still prefer ebs.

Coding the extra gold isn't a problem, it's the whole coding the "battle list" part.

How are they able to differentiate between hitting someone from the battle list or hitting someone from a searched name or hitting someone from world chat?

End of the day ebs will still pay more gold and double gold pvp will do nothing to change people's mind about it.
