New Plunder Mechanics

  1. A big problem in EE wars is the SH. Organizing a team and leading it to victory is a great experience. Every complains about EE wars being unfair so devs try to introduce individual wars for more fair match ups. Why not make it fair by changing plunder mechanics?

    Plunder is based off your buildings and ally bonus vs your opponents strength. What do you see wrong here? Why should your personal earnings be based off your buildings and not based off your enemies buildings also? Or why not is it not your strength and your opponents strength. The problem is it is based off of 2 different factors in both parties (and your ally bonus but everyone understands how that works).

    Individual building plunder is suppose to relate to strength. If that is the case then a SH would not plunder like a mid. They should either rebalance sos plunder or look into plunder being based off of strength not buildings.

  2. They did the same with GH. Reduced the plunder made. Seemed to work at stopping GH but lead to the creation of SH. They would probably just find another exploit anyway
     
  3. Possible but easier to have a minimum plunder value for all attacks with builds paying more when they reach a natural point when they exceed the minimum value ( which I would set at 50mil )
    Make it so all in war must have at least one attack building.
    And you have just defeated all gh Sh exploits value in one hit.
    It also promotes war to new players due to the fact that during ee wars they will earn more than during ebs at their tier offering a better reward for investment than ebs. ( excluding pay to play ebs )
     
  4. I would also like to add the idea of plundering per troop. Instead of plunder relating to your enemies size change that factor to troop count. Thus easily patching exploit builds. The more you build the more you pay so it's best to war big.

  16. Soooo.... The Plunder value goes to the Clan Plunder total and the warrior keeps the Ally bonus.
    So all Ally bonuses do not count toward the Clan vs Clan plunder score? Just the building plunder?
     
  17. The best idea I've heard for EE mechs is to assign point values to actions/defenses (keeping the KO system with slight modifications). With gold there will always be one exploit or another
     
  18. This SH play in a way they see works best is it a exploit or we'll played? It's within devs system and they take a huge hit by not being able to grow they may plunder ok but bigger builds will always plunder better with ebs so it's more difficult for them. So rather then devs fix the system maybes u should drop build?
     
  19. SH is just a new GH.

    Exploit? Yes.

    Accounts way smaller than me making over 70M while I get 1M from them? Stupid. You can argue all day and say that since they are smaller they should earn more. Yes, earn more. Not make bank off me. I was completely disgusted on my war exp the other day.

    Build effective rosters? Not many clans want my build. So, I'm thrown to the waste side.

    Indi wars? Yeah, war with a bunch of randoms that don't have to mith/xstal and pray that you have at least a tracker.

    Change build? Yeah, let me drop from being 15-16Mcbs to a SH just to war.

    My opinion? Go to a points system or put a plunder cap on builds. One idea, put a base amount an account can make. Ie - 50M everyone makes it at the bottom. It can increase but not by a lot.

    Just my 2 cents.
     
  20. The plunder mechanics I suggested refer to ally bonus also. A SH has too high of an ally bonus at their size.

    Another suggestion is maybe less of a plunder increase on lower tier builds built in high lands. A level 1 sos in ll would make more gold than a level 1 sos in hl. Making is so people want to build vols. If sh upgrade to level 1 vols they will pay much better hllc. If they use just use vols to get the same cs they will still make less than the current sh. Devs can implement this by making sos on hl be considered a different building within the coding but still be an sos to us.
