Forges VS Guilds

  1. Question: Do guilds affect your PB? Like if I replaced a guild with a Forge how would that affect my PB?
     
  2. Your attack a def would go down a little but you spy/attack and spy/def would go up

    If you destroy a Forge, your plunder for when you attack goes down. If you replace it with a level 4 guild, your plunder when you spy will go up. Your choice.

  4. Oh so guilds only affect Spy PB, and Forges only affect Attack PB. Thanks guys! I was just a little confused.

  6. Guilds add far more to the plunder bonus cap than forges of the same or lower levels, Zaln, you're wrong here...
     
  7. So they affect your attacking plunder bonus though? Tch, I suck at mechanics. I prefer other stuff XD

  8. Wrath is right. Lvl 3 and lvl 4 guilds add more to plunder cap than lvl 3 forges
     
  9. Lemme get this straight then, does Spy Guild add to attack Plunder Bonuses?

  10. No offense zaln I know ur trying for mod achievement but please don't post incorrect info unless u are 100% sure

    Guilds add to spy and ally plunder bonus
    Troop buildings add to troop plunder bonus and to a lesser extent than guilds ally plunder bonus
     
  13. I'm so confused now! So I will get more gold if I have more guilds when I attack someone than if I have more forges??
     
  14. Lv3 and 4 guilds give more plunder than a lv3 forge, so you would get more plunder.
     
  15. But 1)you'll need allies to max this bonus and 2) if your target is much weaker than you, you may not see an increase at all, or even a slight decrease

    That's the ally plunder bonus cap ranking from best on downwards. Bear in mind that the best data widely available so far is what a handful of people compiled over the months...but plunder calculation was just changed two times in recent weeks. First, they totally revamped the plunder system to factor in the strength of attacker vs defender in calculating the cap (used to just be a fixed cap based on your own buildings, now it factors in stats comparison of attacker vs defender as well). And second, they just changed the actual plunder cap values of buildings themselves, a changed detailed in the building changes thread the devs made, which just went live about 12 hours ago.

    A friend and I have been working on deriving the new plunder cap calculations (he's doing almost all the work, I'm just providing data) and things are looking good. New cap is an equation, not just a fixed value per building. He's got a first crack at the equation, which is generally within about 1% at predicting values, and hopefully we'll get it more refined and start sharing info about the specifics at some point after that.

    But yeah, guilds by a mile.

    I don't want the achievements cuz they aren't irellevant to me, I know there's someone with more than me... Just being called a Mod is fine, idc. Plus, I sometimes helped achievements. Achievements are just for bragging rights (IMO).
