SUPPORT FOR L1. This the best damn thread I've read since starting Kaw. I totally agree with all your views. I totally agree that CC is for clan only chat. If clan decides to be 18/21 chat then it's the choice of the clan. Yes this game is played by kids and I say why should they suffer, well there's 1000s of clans they can join. CC with RP of an adult nature are fun and we shouldn't have to watch what we say or worry that we are been monitored. As for slayerbob, your a mod and should be showing support for such a great thread. Why you're finding fault bewilders me. Are you U18 or did you feel the wrath of the omets at some stage. Whatever the answer I don't really care. L1 should be rewarded for the time, effort and research put into this thread. L1 isn't trying to discriminate against kids but in fact give them the protection they deserve from those who may prey on them or even fall into a false sense of thinking the child is an adult and having inappropriate chat with them. 100% support and FairPlay L1 for such a great read. Pity devs didnt think of this

The clansmen... The point is, if i were a creepy, online, child predator and stumbled on this game and saw it showed (with a badge) who my potential targets were .... Derp.. I would be as happy as a kid in a candy store, or as happy as a creeper who owned a candy store. How is that it so hard to understand?
If you take away moderation and state that some aspects of the game are left to players devices and an age rating higher must be applied then expect kaws presence on App Store to be affected. Kaw has the rules it has so that it may stay presented and marketed as it is. As a safe and secure social environment. If you cannot say something because it would be offensive to a 9 year old in clan chat then you shouldn't be saying it in a public chat room. She verification would adversely affect kaw and we all know underage players would lie about age anyway so is it not just far more acceptable to keep clan chat clean, and if you want to send other messages use private messages. It's why we have that option. This is not a dating or sex site. It's a war game. With a social aspect. We don't need more exclusion.
All you guys saying cc is watched. How sure are you that it wasnt a player inside your clan who reported ss of your cc because they were offended? Or maybe a clan owner had asked cc to be watched? Jumping to conclusions or do you have any real evidence.
I agree with mango, sounds like someone reported it! If you state your clan is suited to over 18's and then younger people join what right do they have to complain about cc content? if they don't like it or even over 18's! they should leave? clearly isn't the clan suited to them.Wouldn't be hard to verify over 18's with bank cards or similar, wouldn't state an age just know they over 18 , though I'm sure people would find a way around that too.
i kind of brought this up before but finally realise where everyone±moderators are coming from to report it to Support@athinkintape.com. moderators cant look on what people is messagijg each other. And expecialy not enough moderators to be in every clan lol. If you dont like what people is personal messaging you, you block them and dont follow them. If you dont like what you see in clan chat then leave. Or the other hand if owners/admins dont like what there seeing boot them lol
Only owners can report things in clans unless it's something serious (sexual harassment). Clearly someone said something very sexually unappealing :lol:
