Fresh idea/solution to fix EE wars

  1. I know we have all suggested adjusting plunder for bigs hitting SH and mids hitting bigs etc etc. But I haven't seen anyone suggest this yet.

    Turn off all hit restrictions. Make plunder equal for every hit. Let's just use $40mill as a number for this example.

    So a huge tank hits a SH, he gets 40mill. A SH hits a mid, he gets 40mill, etc. This brings the wars back to being about strategy and skill. Lead with troops or spies? SKO skills. Knock outs. Speedy fingers.

    It would absolutely take away any roster stacking issues. A clan of all leader boards could fight a clan of all SHs and it would be a fair war in which the outcome would depend solely on the skills of the warriors and the strategy chosen.

    Of course I'm open to feedback on this. Thoughts?

  3. This would mess up other interaction. Let's say a much larger hansel than me was one of my opponents and I make 75m off of him, it wouldn't be fair for him to make that off of me.

  5. Then all you have to do is have your players attack those with clan ranks about 5 below them. They'll always win and still make as much as if they hit people their own size.

    Terrible idea.

  9. That makes no sense, Rage. Everyone would pay the same so you could roster anyone from your clan.

    How is an sh supposed to win agaist a lb?

    Now this is one stupid idea (well kinda of a good one but this idea will need a lot lot lot lot off effort for players to take serious!)
     
  11. Minimum payment has been suggested before and unfortunately ignored.
    To open up ps all devs need to do is stipulate one attack build per kingdom to be eligible for war and no ps exploit. Clans would be able to war with natural clan builds and the only stack would be the top few clans stacking as many lb as they can to have bullet (arrow) proof rosters.
    Setting a minimum attack value that becomes a natural pay level upon exceeding a certain size would open up main stream rosters for most though. Would be good if devs could trial an idea like this for just one weekend to either prove it will or will not work. Hint hint kc.
     
  12. Support. The idea has already been suggested. It's a good idea to try to phase out the Sh build. Example: Take a Clan full of Sh against a clan full of bigs n mids just say. The Sh aren't successful so make no plunder. The mids and bigs can skim off them all war without failing.... Actually I like it. It forces ppl to quit using Sh as they become a liability in war. Much like having a hansel in war against a bunch of hybrids
     
  13. Suggested many times actually. And there is a flaw. A big hitting a small, would give little plunder. And to all you eb fairies for explanation, it's like a 25mill cs attack build hits warbeasts vs a 1 mill cs. They will not get the same plunder, and the 25mill will get a lot less. And imagine a 25 mill cs destroying a sh, while earning a billion in the process!
     
  14. Fix the plunder system fix the ee system it's as simple as that no temp fixes until people find a hole

    It's old dated and needs a new improvement

    I mean eb pay more than people 2x bigger than me and that's a offence to a war game

    So fix plunder and you fix the game as a whole
     
  15. Lol true da dragster but the devs could change it so a minimum attack value applies. Anyone hits anyone during an ee war and the minimum attack value paid could be 40-50 mil with natural build size pay overriding beyond that. It's possible to test and implement. It's not ideal but it would help prevent stacking with unnaturally small builds whilst allowing naturally small newer players to easily enter ee in a small clan. The bigger the target the better the value of the target but no longer would people have to deal with the exploit of overpowered Sh paying just 12-15 mil a hit in return.
     
  16. I'm my sure that some of you actually read my post. I'm not saying adjusting the plunder amounts to make SH pay more. I'm saying make every hit equal regardless of build, size or troop level.
     
  17. This has been posted before and shot down as a non ideal solution.

    1) it does not reward anyone for growing.
    2) It changes fundamental plunder mechanics of the game.
    3) there will be other repercussions.
