Giving bb for the pots we bought is a sham. I got less gold after selling the bb than when I bought the pots. Seems like your math is off
We're going through and verifying, your refund was accurate: On June 11th, 4pm PDT , your account had 100 Prognosticator potions. You were refunded 48 Bronze Bars. This amount is equal to 125% of the potions cost, to counteract the 25% tax when you sell them.
KaW can you please look at my history please. I've yet to be refunded the full 125%. I received some bars but not the full amount.
In another words - start of sarkasm..WE , DEVS HAVE RECEIVED EMAIL FROM COUPLE OF OUR TOP SPENDERS THREATNING BY QUITING AS THEY "COULD" HAVE BEEN HARMED BY OTHER PLAYERS SPENDING UNDERSTANDABLE FORTUNE IN GOLD ON IT...WE DO NOT LIKE IT AND STRONGLY OPPOSE TO FAIRNESS TO BE BROUGHT TO THIS GAME WE RULE!!! end of sarkasm. Booooooo devs booooooo
I think I know see the error in you pot refund calculations. You can't refund 125% of the 22.5m bb value. Here's the math 1BB = 30m x 75% = 22.5m Your math (I think): 22.5m x 125% = 28.125m (94% of purchase value) Correct Math: 22.5m / 75% = 30m (100% refund of purchase value) % are not additive in the manner you last post implied. You must take the inverse of original multiplier (1/.75 = 133.333% not 125%)
I guess we were wrong to assume computer programmers and marketing majors know accounting no offense kaw stuff, nothing but ShadyLove here as you know Please refund us the correct amount as all of us knew there was an issue but DK simple math proves it - please pm/email DK if you have questions on the refund differential back into bronze bars so we can put this issue to bed
You are correct. The math for the refund was correct, my explanation of the 125% was not. Apologies for the confusion. Everyone was refunded 133.333% of their potion cost in Bronze Bars, not 125%.
I'm going to solve your math problem Step 1: Account for your 1.25% math (Which per DK was flawed) # of bronze bars divided by 125% X/1.25 Step 2: Apply the Correct % based on the Inverse of the 75% ($ lost to BB) 1 divided by 75% 1/.75 Step 3: Account for the Refunded BB in your corrected mathematical formula Corrected Amount minus # of BB previously refunded X (as adjusted from Steps 1 and 2) - x Step 4: Refund us the additional BB Equation to Use to Correct for the error x = represents # of BB previously Refunded =((x/1.25)*(1/.75))-x Correction Formula Example forth coming .....
