How to make new pots acceptable. Since the art is so well done, I would like to make the post so to have these items in a more sensible way. Feel free to agree or disagree I will make multiple suggestions: If you support any of the suggestions post Support then the number you support. Like support #1 If you do not support, please let me know why and possibly give me a reason why you don't support. Idea #1 Reduce power and price. Dragon's Breath Cost 50,000,000 > 31,000,000 Attack 108,000,009 > 85,000,000 Smog Screen Cost 50,000,000 > 32,000,000 Attack 80,000,000 > 75,000,000 Keep Shrieking Portal and Prognosticator as is. Idea #2 Simple and to the point. Remove the attack potions completely and keep the defensive pots. Idea #3 Bring back to pots as they are but increase player vs player payout on steals and attacks to match the inflation of the pots. Idea #4 Just keep those pots removed permanently. My Personal Opinion I personally enjoy option number 3 the best. The reason to this is with an increase in plunder through all player vs player actions will incentivized pvp because the increase would be there rather you use the potions or not. ~ 3
I think we should be done with pots. It's expensive for 50% of KaW to maintain them. But as for idea one, I didn't really check, but does the stats follow the curve? Like stats per gold? I know the first few attack pots are in the curve perfectly until the seal of lightning. But my question is, does the stats match what they should? Or just an over or under estimate
No support to idea 1. These pots have to be bigger then the last ones. That means they have to be more in price. No support to the rest of the thread either. The devs don't need ideas. They already have them from feedback.
The issue at hand with number three is the alt/friend loophole. I wish there was a way to offset this, but I haven't seen any ideas that cut the problem off at the source.
Shadow, ebs will always pay more than pvp when you take into account the payout bonus. But you can still close the gap and please the dying breed of KaW. Hardcore oswers. Pvp payout 50% unless they're a purespy, in which case payout 20%
Why make this thread after the devs have already updated us that they are taking the pots out? Some of us are patiently waiting for our egg rewards and others don't want to have to worry about the wait for them to do everything else when they should be releasing rewards.
#1 and #3 look good, but I dislike #2. If you kept the def pots but took out the att pots, then people would need to get a ton of att strength just to be able to hit people. Which in turn would make PvP slowly disintegrate.
Is there any reason why these pots have to be the strongest in Kaw? Put them in the middle range somewhere if you really like the artwork that much. Personally, getting rid of all pots would make the game go smoother, and I wouldn't miss the art.
Support #3 I dont think the pots should have been removed in the first place tbh. But i can understand why some people wanted them gone and devs made the right choice for now at least.
Post was made before kaw made his 2nd post about the new pots. I feel like these pots will be coming back regardless, that is why I made this post. To let the community voice which option they like the best. Hopefully a dev takes notice and reads through this thread and choses the popular option.
-ShadowAssassin- There is no alt/friend loop hole in increasing pvp plunder to match inflation of pots. You will still make gold faster on EB. Also, if you hit an alt that is smaller than yourself, you do not make as much gold. OSF's still pay well but EB's are more efficient.
