Kinda With enough time to organize it could be fun Yes it was an even match stat wise Yes id play again Kos need to be random
I had given up on ee wars with all the roster stacking and other cheats. But wow this random war was a blast took many issues out of play. Meet some new peeps had a fun hard fought war and reminded me why i love playing kaw. this is the only format i will continue to partisapate in. Death to roster stacking, Long live chaos
I think the numbers speak for themselves and if this isn't an integral part in the future of ee it will continue to die.
Most positive, all they need is to clean it up a bit. They'd get 100% good matches if they spread the LB guys around a bit more. And even more if they didn't cancel the second one
I really liked how these wars were set up, well balanced along with the extra challenge of having to work with people you don't know Plus it allows you to make new friends
I thought that the kind of war was much better than normal ee wars as the match-ups were fair and I found it way more fun and enjoyable
Despite having received a no match today and a pittance for my 3.5 hours of inconvenience, I have these insights to offer. I would liked to have seen a more "normalized" clan than all groupings of the same stat range of people. My feeling is that the distribution of people to clans could have been more effective had it been akin to the asw format where each clan had all sizes represented. Take as an example if there were 1000 people and 50 clans of 20 members. In this case you would draft the strongest to sign up into first clan and then on until the top 50 were signed into each of the 50 clans. Instead of repeating this pattern, though, you would reverse the draft order. So the 51st strongest would go into the clan with the 50th strongest, the 52nd with the 49th strongest etc. Reverse the draft order each cycle until all clans are filled up. This would give a really even distribution of different builds types and strengths. The only major problem with this is that you could still see some big discrepancies especially at the top where there can be major gulfs between top ally lb. Of course you could mix it up and have some wars set up like today but I fear that you encounter the same extremely frustrating no match situation.
Support for what Emilly just wrote ... I was about to write something similar. Or there can be some wars with one matching system (like yesterday) and others with a more diverse clan membership. No need to limit it to one or another.
Not much more I can add after all the prior comments. I think the very high volume of activity in WC 1-2 hours prior to the war and the 32 pages of comments demonstrate the demand for this new war type. Great job! A lot of fun! We (Heedless Fiends) were lucky enough to win, and it was fun warring with new players. I specifically enjoyed being able to hit the entire enemy roster (both at the top and bottom). I initially ruled out the top two players for initial targets assuming they were huge…, I didn’t realize until afterwards when I compared the rosters how similarly matched the entire roster was. This was a pleasant surprise. The difference in total combined CS of each side was only 0.26%. I also enjoyed seeing spy builds in the roster. I wonder how all the SH felt fighting each other? Lol. Maybe that’s why they got no matches. Pros: Exciting. Easier to manage (removes the roster coordination for war admins beforehand). Depending on the lead-time, this could really reduce the total time commitment for each war, making it easier for everyday people to participate. Again, 1 hour between match and the start of the war should be sufficient instead of 2 hours (we managed today with only 20 minutes lead time). Essentially a 50% chance to win…. Much better than throwing your hat in the ring with all the stacked clans out there. Cons: People may not have crystals / towers / 14 mith, but with additional prep time you can customize your strategy to fit. (Given the short prep time, I literally divided our roster into ‘even’ and ‘odd’ teams regardless of build type ). For the player looking to participate in wars on a one-off basis without being in a professional war clan, this is a great opportunity! 2 thumbs up, matching mistakes / delays aside. -Rad
1/ inactives prob A) deposit for inactives - all should pay fee before war (according to size) and if inactive (0 actions) then lose it B) possible kick if all members in clan accept it 2/ devs could you please introduce something like individual stats system to player profile? Wins/lost KO/SKO/KOEd
Had notice in my news feed stating mith has been refunded but never received, reset app, still no mith
The idea was certainly bold, and the people who got matchup surely enjoyed it, but there was one problem that some clans didn't have wc or tracker and such stuff, so i give 2 suggestions 1- there should be an equal distribution of .wcs and trackers simply make some options while signing up 2-.a bit more preparation time, the last time i got my clan 15 min before the.war
