So I just competed two hauntings. The first I used the seal 100% of the time I could, but I was skimming with only attack troops (I didn't have a spy building.) The second time I used the seals 100% of the time when I could except I was skimming with attack troops AND spy troops from a new volary. The first payout was 5b. The second payout was 2b. Can we draw any conclusions from this? *Average attack damage: 205 *Average spy damage: 140-150
Attack builds make more plunder from attacks. Hansels make more by spies. Usually attack builds have towers is why a hansel can make a lot more without having any towers at all.
A couple variables you aren't controlling for: Were the two hauntings the same length? Did you use about the same number of seals on each?
I used approx the same number if seals. The number of actions the first time was 410, and the second 350. Regardless the plunder for the first was about 8b, and the second 4b. 60 actions wouldn't add 4b.
No, I've noticed this too... When I use attack troops only on red haunt with zero spy actions my payout is always better in the end... There's a thread about this, came out during the fang hunt...
1st (Attack Only) - 410 actions 2nd (Attack and Assn) - 350 actions Attacks earn more plunder so 410 actions with all attacks will earn you more than 350 actions with attacks and assn. Especially because you assn a lot more than you attack. So most of your actions in the 2nd run are assn which earn you little plunder with that build. Therefor you will earn more using spies and troops but the actions to plunder ratio won't be as high (not important). If it is HTE theres no point in wasting useless spies that are just killing the EB and wasting damage that could have been done with attacks for more plunder.
Attack builds should not use spies for hte. It it useless because the amount you make in gold troops vs. spies. Your spies are so weak that even first hit you'll make a max of 100k gold
This experiment is not at all at all controlled. Next time do one with no pots and all attacks and one with no pots and all spies attacks. Something like that. Plus maybe unload exactly one unload bar on each so they're equal.
I disagree. Maybe it's because I can be selfish, but that extra 100k and progress towards spy achievements is worth cutting the HTE short by a little(that's what you're doing by not using spies, you're extending the HTE).
You would make more than 100k lol, I'd estimate I make about 3-5m first hit on red haunt, I make 155m first attack
Bonus is all about the average of your combined damage so of course only skimming attack (attack build) can make you 30bill easy from a tsg for less than 300 actions.... it's silly really surely both types of troops should not effect each other it is flawed and should be changed. Surely spies should enhance what my soldiers do rather than detract from that.
Bonus is NOT all about your combined damage. If it was my 14m cs hansel would get crappy bonuses as this account easily does more damage to every eb. Unfortunately it's not as simple as that. I'll leave it to a tester to let you know then, see if you can get hold of unicorn
Philthiest is correct in what he is saying. Your end bonus is based off of your average contribution to the EB across all your actions. For an attack build with only a few spy buildings you make a much smaller contribution from spies than attack which drastically lowers your contribution, therefore your end payout is lower.
Your end payout is a reflection of your contribution to the eb. Hence why skimming makes you more gold on average than a full unload does - as your strength stays higher with each hit, your total strength and therefore contribution to the eb across your hits is much higher. So you earn more gold, as youve technically done more work. The same applies to using stronger stats. For attack builds like OP, who only have 1-3 spy builds, and a very low number in spy stats, their strength from spies is very low, even from a full bar - particularly in comparison to their attack strength for most of the bar - this means, that by using their spies they immediately lower their AVERAGE strength and by extension, contribution to the eb, so their bonus falls. If any of that is unclear please ask.
I think 1 attack gives an X amount of pay out, same with assasinations. This plunder is based of your buildings (Decreasing depending on troop/spies %) and that will just be added up in the end. If it depends on damage/actions i would get less with no equip on? Dont think so
