Re: Mercenaries - A Narwhalian Idea Its a good idea. But maybe add in the attacked account mustve been active last week to prevent alts being gired n stuff
Re: Mercenaries - A Narwhalian Idea A question? Could i amass these mercenary forces and use them at any point to my hearts desire? Because that would be great.
Re: Mercenaries - A Narwhalian Idea Ok just picking on a point Your army has been destroyed by an unknown group of mercenaries. Isn't this like paying for a single offload option with extra troops available for your attack. Plus is this not easy to abuse by attacks hitting big hansels they know have gold out this getting a large payout? Sorry gotta ask
Re: Mercenaries - A Narwhalian Idea Support your idea I think this is quite practical, adding a free market to the game. On the other hand, it's rather difficult to incorporate this in (from the perspective of the game makers) which is why there still isn't a system of a "free market" apart from the ally market. To summarise, the idea is fantastic and useful, but whether it will be utilised by the kaw devs is a completely different matter.
Re: Mercenaries - A Narwhalian Idea Mate... They refuse to work on pvp outside of ee.. This isn't even in the ball field of possible.. Already have a in game player made version of this any ways.
Re: Mercenaries - A Narwhalian Idea This will basically replace the xtal system. I would love to make money on this, but I just don't see it happening. No support.
Re: Mercenaries - A Narwhalian Idea Here's a big flaw. Say you're the little fairy noob who's hiring a merc. So you hire me for say 100b to take care of your farming problem. I kick some asses and you pay me. What do I do next? Well I turn right around and spank your fairy ass until I've taken every piece of gold you have and then I move on to my next conquest.
Re: Mercenaries - A Narwhalian Idea Krieg xD. That's not the point at all. You don't get an entire army, YOU GET ONE OR TWO AUTOMATED ATTACKS depending on army size. It would not stop your farming problem or anything. Let's just say your a 6m hansel fighting a 20m one. Stronger BFE, stronger BFA, and better stats overall. Are you really expecting to get any hits to even out a dent? No, would you at least like to get a successful hit? Then do what cities actually did, hire mercenaries. You also think that you know who hired you would even know who you are. Most transactions are secretive and don't even know who they are. So, how are you even going to hit them? Unless you make a spell to know every single merc purchase xD.
