Short answer, you're just extremely unlucky. Long answer, the enchanting algorithm is controlled by a random number generator, kind of like checks in a tabletop game or a game of dice; if you "roll" above a certain amount, you succeed, anything below and you fail. I assume that when your equipment resets, you've effectively rolled a 1. It would also be logical to assume that different gear has higher or lower success rate depending on rarity.
I'm with you on this one mate.... Think of every swear word possible.... That's how I'm describing my exo right now!
Anyone else do a facepalm when some moron explains in CC how enchanting works 100% of the time if you unequip gear, have your spies at 58% and troops at 100%, have on a striped shirt, have one Black sock on, one white sock flipped out and halfway on, and are in close proximity to a Reuben Sandwich? And somehow YOU'RE the idiot for explaining RNG to him.
Just frustrating hitting eb after eb after eb to get equip to only have it fail on enchantment and even worse lose stats. SMFH
That's pretty much what I did. I finished my lowlands (all level 3 SoSes, with the exception of one CoE), then moved on to the highlands. I believe I bought a few highlands before I left, but the gist is the same... Basically, as a hansel, I put guilds on each of my new lowlands because they were cheap and boosted my plunder. I used this boosted plunder to unlock more lands, and eventually buy the Mage. Your results may vary if you have a different build or don't hit HTEs. However, once you get the Mage and enchant some gear, your pot needs (as a hansel) or your damage changes, in a positive way. More damage equals a higher payout at the end of an EB.
I tried to enchant the new helmet it failed 30 times in a row that's just stupid nights as well keep them if you can't upgrade
Remember you have to make a perfect salt circle around yourself before enchanting. This prevents negative energies from affecting your Mage.
