Hello again, hopefully this thread gets more attention than the last promo thread I made. Now there are several ideas for next promo and also some feedback all with comments from leaderboard hunters. One has asked not to reveal their name so I made it universal for all giving comments. Hopefully if you have any feedback, you can share it here and devs might implement some of this! Introduce bonus hour: This was based on the last drop increase. I think there should be maybe one "bonus hour" every couple days at a random time. This might increase activity and definitely gives players a small chance at getting a higher prize. Maybe increase drops by 100%? Or increase for spy actions/attack actions? Increase for one type of action every day but change the order? There's a lot of potential in this idea. (Lb opinions) "I think consistency is crucial. Its allowed us all to make strategy on it . Plus since its equal no bias. However. A lucky drop like on fang event is cool. Would spice up things" "Yeah that wouldn't be bad. Like yesterday drop rate increase" "Yeah that be good if not specially cater to any TZ " Promo item market: I'm sure I can speak honestly for all the lb hunters when I say devs should create a market for us to use extra promo items on (i.e. Fangs, moths, feathers). This might give everyone a desire to keep hunting after they reach their goals and might give everyone a more positive perception of these promos. (Lb opinions) "It would be nice if they made a whole set. And each equip had a price tag. You could choose the pieces you want" "yes it would be fantastic to get the remanding in form of billions. say I finished with 490. 90k for goal then 400b hehe. . . yes anything would be nice" "That would be good as well. Cuz is upper tier players don't have any goal anymore but staying even with each other. Besides Katie and super going for #1" "Yes that be a good idea for those over 90k and still going on" Space out drop increase before hand and more evenly: This seems to be big among players who already had a high goal from the start. This totally makes sense; why would you waste time collecting feathers since the beginning when you could have waited a couple weeks? Well, because we don't want to risk not getting those prizes on the chance devs won't increase the drops enough. I think giving out non enchant able banners was a good example of this. High level of feathers needed and you can't get what the top 100 got unless you yourself are part of the top 100. People should have more to show for than just a badge. As it clearly was an overkill and would cripple the whole events to come" "I'll rephrase why do they need to increase - if they work out an amount of activity that says to them the player gets the reward? Eg must hit 8 ebs a day for 2 months or something There is only one reason to increase and that is to undermine work done earlier by others so they also still need to spend" "I think the increases the devs did was kind of a cheap dirty ploy. Hard to sign up for an event that has changing rules It Almost makes me not want to participate " Length of promotional events: This is definitely something I think that everyone could agree on. Way. Too. Long! Something around 1-2weeks would be much easier for people with rl commitments and people who cannot afford to spend so much over a longer period of time. It was too long from start etc but they should stick to their word. The drop rate showed it was purely business decision" "I think it's an unanimous too long" Clan rewards: Alright, now this is a new idea, and I would like to thank donno-the-first for introducing it. Now, the purpose of this is to give clans as a whole a chance to get rewards such as increased stats or finally making use of that plunder % stat bonus. This could create clan loyalty and strengthen existing loyalty. Now, why should devs invest time in this? Because people will most definitely spend money on xtals to finish ebs faster to benefit the clan. Now, donno's reason for introducing this is, "First thing I don't like it's individual centric it should also have clan bonus" and I agree. There should be a team effort involved. There are s some holds in the idea but I think if has lots of potential. Now, some opinions on this idea: "If so. It may promote more home clans to participate. I was the only one from my home clan until the drop increase and new banner. If there's was some sort of clan incentive it may have inspired them sooner. Yeah. Adding something to the plunder bonus wld be good. That 0% plunder has been there for a while. And would be unique compared to the stat bonuses which are already active." "I'm not saying its a bad idea I'm all for it no telling which clan actually generated most feathers though" "I am not too sure about that as it might create unhappiness between clans and ppl might move around so hard to gauge how to award"
Honestly, I don't really like "bonus hour". If people are already complaining about the refund some people got for the buildings, think how much people will complain about a 100% drop rate during that hour. Plus, devs would never do this on their beloved SCRAG series. but, other than that, eh. Let's lay off any promos for a bit. Kaw has more important things to worry about.
I wish they would get rid of the promo all together and fix ee. Why not just increase drop rates from ebs?Although, I did like the gold promo last summer. No special stuff, just increased gold amounts on different ebs.
