Redesigning the Ally System

  1. I will begin with my most important issue: Why are new players valued at 10 000 gold when they start? Surely this was because when KaW launched there were only limited bulding tiers. But in the age of tier 6 why not value new players instantly say 5 billion gold and also give them a certain amount of gold to build. This would eliminate the need of volleying new players.

Secondly a thought that occurred to me was why not apply a certain % of the allie's BFA &,BFE to the owner. It would make allies who work on BFE,& BFA valued at a realistic prize. For example me with only plunder allies should not be the same value as the player who has worked 3x harder on their allies/EE equip.

Lastly being hired should not get you a mere 1 million gold instead the ally who is hired should get a % of their hire price.

These ideas will spice up the ally market and more importantly make the integration of new players easier.

  2. Idea 1 sucks, how is a little person meant to grow when allies cost 5 billion (or even around that) my friend has been playing for about 4 months now on every day refuses to buy allies and hasn't made a milestone of 1 million stats because of no allies, no support

  3. @kingdom that is the most annoying part because everyone is stealing you allies, but you have to tell your friend that everytime someone buys his/her allies, they gain money off of it. Allies are essential for faster growth.

  4. And plus, he/she should be saving up their gold for a major upgrade, so if allies got a little pricey, it shouldn't matter because of the gold saved up

  5. Trust me, I tried he just won't listen to reason I told him that you'll gain a lot more from allies but he's just like "nah I'll make enough money if I just get all the plunder from war beast" I don't even bother anymore

  6. I see, and to OP, I don't agree with the first thing you said because volleying allies is a good way to make money on both the resin who is volleying but doesn't keep and the person who is being volleyed. Also, as a new player getting volleyed, you feel a certain love and warmth that keeps your interest in the game

  7. Volleying also usually finds the person a clan to join.

  8. Vollies spiral way out of proportion to devs original intent very early on. The current inflation make it a nuisance to many but this is the way it is . The amount of plunder granted by an ally is woefully out of sync with player value ratio. The only way to fix it would be to level the economy and start over. But then you would have to make the money in circulation fair to. Equal distribution of wealth lol. just like in the real world I don't see it ever coming to that.

for a new player you should get in the habit of three steps.

of course learn the volley but also when you're hitting your epic battles try and buy one to five allies per unload. don't worry about people buying them or not at this level of the game its really not as important as it becomes later on. at this point all you're concerned with is the plunder increase per hit. it's all about momentum and frequency of attacks. As you become stronger the money will come. Its a lesson in opportunity cost.time management and money management are vital at this point.and until you have at least a few Highlands unlocked don't waste your time messing around with towers for defense or attack. And don't go crazy buying a bunch of parts that you probably aren't going to need right now. And also if you go around picking fights with people thats also going to cost you money because you're going to be buying a tech pots and you're not going to be making as much as you would from epic battles.focus on networking find a great clan with established players.your allies are a mechanic of the game.as time goes on and you understand the system better you will be able to effectively utilize them.

  9. So the three steps are

    Buy 1-5 allies
    Unload
    regent

    Repeat.

  10. You said it perfectly^ that's what all beginners should read

  11. I support your last idea since you put your own gold into an ally, you should get something out of it. As for your first post for starting at 5 Billion, not such a good idea....maybe start off at 1 million?
