This thread isn't going to be either fancy or long, but these are a few things the community should do to further expand the popularity of KaW. First, I'd like to ask, why do we want a bigger community? Thanks for asking, well we would want a bigger community because with more people we have more forum posts, we have more people, we have more chat in world chat, we have more clans, we have more options, and we overall have more fun. Second, how are we supposed to expand the community? Easy, there are many ways, for example, YouTube. If we make lots of videos and we have people from the community who actually watch these and subscribe to channels and such than we slowly rise to up KaW. Same concept of live streaming on Twitch. I'm sure watching a KaW live stream wouldn't exactly be the most entertaining, but I am sure that if the stream has good commentary, has a face cam, and likes to have fun, people would sit and watch just because you are exciting. Lastly, how can I help? Simple, if you watch youtube, make sure to subscribe and watch videos of KaW. Also, commenting and liking will boost its "point" value. (Youtube ranks videos by a hidden "point" value) Make sure to follow and watch live streams of KaW. These may not be entertaining, and if you don't like any of the streamers or youtubers of KaW then become one yourself and do the exact opposite of what you didn't like. That's not what I said. I said I personally will watch a live stream or a youtube video if the creator is entertaining. Content doesn't mean everything you know.
I think this actually has some potential, if not for the forums, but for clans as a form of advertising. There are plenty of regular ads and such, but I think video ads that are well built would be beneficial to clans, or just entertaining. PS, kinda skimmed the OP, sorry if I'm off topic
Makijg youtube vids? Of what. Ppl tapping buttons on a screen. There's no action animation here. Just numerical values and chat. Who would watch someone chatting on a screen? :/
I'm sure you could find a way to make a KaW video entertaining. Be creative. If it wasn't a fun game why are we playing it?
There are always small communities of age-old players on games with some kind of interaction. That's what makes KaW interestin.
OP listed different ways of executing the set ideas. Webcams, YouTube, Twitch would be good sources to attract followers if the right people commentate. They would be able to show the value of playing this game and what makes it unique from other games in its categories.
Idk..... i just don't think livestreamings amd youtube vids of a face looking into a cam would attract ppl who don't know what KaW is or who that guy/girl in da cam is. If there were animations of apheriuns gettin' killed by 58 players or so with a commentator that seems highly renowned or comedic, then that could get some new guys here. But gl with your plans.
Who plays a war game to chat / rp and read forums?? Did you buy a ps4 just to talk to people? Hell No!! That would be stupid
@ Anti-social I do. The war game is great. But I wouldn't be here if the massive community and chat options weren't available. It is what makes KAW unique. The cultural differences on a broad scale platform.
