Since other improvements are being made to the forums, can you please make two more for mobile users? They are: 1) Allow mobile users a choice on viewing images and gifs. Some are hilarious. Some are stupid. All use bandwidth that I may want to use for other purposes. I've seen other websites that allow a mobile user to tap on a box or icon if they want to download and view the image/gif. 2) provide mobile users a method to ignore posters similar to the ability that computer users have. Thanks! -RDV-1992
Uh.. KaW does control the forums. They're just limited a bit with what they can add at this point. Different Forum layouts allow different things, so whether or not any of these things that you suggested are possible, I'm not sure.
I wish for PCM style accessibility to forums from devices. So we don't have any excuses for no bb codes or broken bb codes
The forum is actually based on OpenBB, as far as I know. Very basic software, but it's extremely cheap, if not free because it's open source. I don't believe that the devs are willing to program (or purchase...) a new platform for the forum, dispute how much it may be wanted.
Agreed it would be nice rdv bro, but I think a change in what format/program they use would just throw forums into chaos for quite a while until the community adjusted. Probably much more of a headache than the devs want ATM.
Some interesting ideas, though a bit tricky on a mobile device to make them easily accessible and user friendly. With images/gifs, even on most sites that hide these they're actually pre-loaded, just "hidden". That said, I'll share these ideas with the devs as I'm all for offering more features on the forums PS: If you weren't aware there's a few new tags you can use. Code: TEXT TEXT Code:

Code: [s]TEXT[/s] TEXT Code: [imgfit]IMAGE URL[/imgfit] (makes image fit the device perfectly width wise)
