I was looking around for a clan that was associated with the name "Spartan" cause I thought it would match my name when I found several inactive clans. This gave me the idea that clans that go inactive for 180 days be sold for auction because it would be a waste of a perfectly good clan name. What I mean by a inactive clan is a clan with players that also have had no activity what so ever and a clan that has not be touched in 180 days. For the auction system, on the clan page there would be a buy button that lets you bid on the clan. The starting price would be the default clan cost and all the gold won would go to the previous owner.
Hmmmmm so I make an alt owner of a clan go inactive on it for 180 days and then raise the price to hundreds of billions and give it to my alt to grow. That is why this is a terrible idea. This could easily be severely abused to pass gold to alts to help them grow. If the gold went out of play like it does when one buys a clan then this might be somewhat of a good idea.
I think it is pretty fair to make all clan owners aware that if their clan goes inactive for 6 months then it disbands.
There should be some way to deal with clans that are inactive, like how old profiles are reset. Just disbanding the clan and giving the owner 25 bil is good enough.
Think about what your suggesting, going to auction you could end up paying more why not just make a clan or join one with Spartan in the clan name?
Why not? The reason you would be paying more is because someone has the name you WANT. I you don't want to pay more, you don't have to.
so your saying that those who spent money onto the game to buy 100 noble points to make a clan should get screwed over ? how do you know the clans are inactive they could be active doing pvp not ebs or clan wars
