  9. Farming is a very old term. It is commonly used in every mmorpg. I'm sure that the origin is 'gold farming'. Where typically, chinese gold farmers will spend 24/7 doing the best activity to receive massive amounts of gold to sell it to players via 3rd party. In these games where the term farming is used for spending hours obtaining gold or other materials, like for crafting, the word camp or camping is instead used for killing players.

  10. Farming in kaw came from the Plunder War days. When an osf or oaf in the opposing clan would be open for attacks. That kingdom was "farmed". Outside hitters could take gold from the osf/oaf and a gentlemans agreement was common in the game that more than 4 hits was out of order and would result in return hits. This is where the term "farmed" stemmed from. The term in the current game is redundant.

  11. ...I call it plowing.

  12. 5 hits in 24 hours and you're "ravaging" their kingdom. Maybe OP and LR share the same mentality.

  13. Tending the garden of forgotten souls

  14. Farming in gaming is the act of doing something repetitively

  15. When u steal u make money doing it over again i what u do in real life farming u grow and sell stuff for money over amd over again

  16. Farming was a term brought by other games back in the day by older players

  17. Thank You for The real answer . I still think ravaging and plundering sounds more fun.

  18. It also implies easy wins.
    Farming as opposed to warring.
    Warring implies taking some losses.

  19. It's a term leftover from when we used to hit players for the only source of income. EBs practically eliminated farming in that sense. Now farming is just hitting a player for fun
