I don't know if this has been suggested yet but I feel it would be a very good feature. The game already gives push notifications for wall posts and private messages so you can get them even when you're not logged in. However, if someone applies to your clan you don't have this option. I think we should be able to get push notices for this as well. If this is already an available function please tell me where to find it bc it isn't in my settings. It gives u an alert in your newsfeed,if they did that they'd probably just do newsfeed alerts and everyone would hate that
As admin of a clan it would be a huge bother if while I'm out with my family.. at dinner, playing with my kid, etc. if I had the added nuisence of being notified everytime someone wanted to join the clan. That is why most clans have multiple admins so no one person is responsible for letting peeps into clan. Some clans are ectremely popular orr are old enough to have travelling family. The notifications could be nonstop and extremely annoying. Not a goid idea if devs want to generate more interest witjoit being a pest to their customers. Just my opinion. I agree with Dark on this. And since push notices can be turned off, I see no issue there. But knowing someone is at the door even when I'm not on KaW would be helpful.
In previous threads, the idea of member tagging has been mentioned. Returning members, VIP, and admins, would be automatically added back to clan if they reapplied. Although mentioned casually, I would love the idea of being able to turn on Merc mode, where all merc tags, all applications with merc tags are automatically added to clan. I digress. The entire purpose of eb admins (not super admins) is to review requirements, check banned lists, and determine if based upon the available slots, whether this person can be admitted at this time. Assuming that some of those features mentioned above were in place, you would still want to see applications for new members. However, the option to turn off these type of clan alerts would be an added bonus to supplement the richer clan structure.
