Hello everyone Having spoken to many players and having seen myself, I believe that the world chat is being used as advertisement. Understandably this is okay, however it limits ways in which players can develop a community on the game. I propose having a separate chat for advertising and asking for help, that way we can have a chat where people actually chat and discuss and have fun This has many advantages for both players and developers/moderators, for players it allows us to develop a community. For moderators it reduces the number of messages per second to look through for spam or content negative to the community. For developers it makes it easier to isolate candidates for the moderator position should it come up as they can see who is actually active in the community. Good idea, you're not the first to propose it. I personally don't see it happening, nor do I truly care. I have yet to make a friend on here purely off WC.
Every time i see wc without ads a bunch of idiots merge out and start kissing each other in wc or start talking about duck faces..no support i prefer ads
This has been proposed many times. Although it would be nice adding a new section that has very limited characters. This would stop a lot of ads.
The job of moderators is to help the community, could it not then be argued that as long as there is so many posts, there is not a real global community suggested by the world chat?
Actually it increases the duty of the moderators. Now they have to switch back and forth in between the chats to make sure no one bypasses or breaks the rules.
For the developers it makes them work on new coding and distracts from further pvp and EB updates as well as two weeks of spam emails demanding that silences were unfair and all they did was post an ad
For fucks sake. This idea has been suggested so many times and I don't think you relish how bad it is, how many faults it has. Forget it. NO SUPPORT.
