Potential Idea Intro Ok bare with me guys as this is my first forum post and I'll try not to let people down! I was watching World Chat earlier and I couldn't help wonder why people are not having a normal conversation, asking how people are, all those sorts of things that you would expect to happen in an online game that has people from all around the world in it. Then I realized, the ads are the problem. DON'T GET ME WRONG I know people have already realized that and blah blah blah, but still, the devs have not changed this. I don't have a reason as to why this change has not come about but even so, this is my idea. AD CHAT Ok, again bare with me, I'm sure this has been brought up before, but just have a read at what I'm suggesting. I think, devs should create an Ad chat, that has 37 tabs. These tabs would each have the title of an eb, where people would go to post any ads they have for that particular eb, or any help needed, etc. This way, people will find it easier epic battles they want, clans will gain more members from ads possibly as I'm sure the ads will stay in those tabs for longer, gaining more sight from other players. There would also be another tab, a completely free chat that is grouped with the other 37 tabs, for people with clans just posting looking for new members and not a particular Epic Battle. New clans etc. WORLD CHAT World chat would then be free for people who want to chat to others, ask for advice from players that have been in the game for longer and just genuinely get to know others. But instead of having your conversation lost between the continuous spamming of different ads, (Which I'm sure everyone has experienced when trying to have a conversation with). SUPPORT Okay, obviously 1. We need the support of the PLAYERS. 2. We need the support of the DEVS. Without these, the idea is obviously ka-put. But, taking advantage of the new ads who have described interest of being eventually put into forum supervision, If the Devs were willing to extend the welcome and put on a few more new Moderators, they would still have a solid hold on the multiple chats, being able to patrol as they already do around the the chats, silencing anyone for violating ToU or anything else that provokes a silence. Please give your opinions below, if you have any suggestions to the idea, changes etc, feel free to post in here or post on my wall. No hate, just an idea that would make lots of people happy. Old idea, but is supported by every player. Devs are just too busy atm to go in and redesign the chat
Several tabs would be a nightmare. If two separate ideas were integrated it would be better. Ad tab and the ability to search for a specific eb that is running.
Ummmm what how about they redo clan event like it is when choosing which EB to start so you get what you're looking for
An idea that has been suggested dozens of times. Best way they could fix it that would be easier than another chat tab to lag the server up with would be an eb search function. Say you were looking for NML
Dumb thumb syndrome let me continue. And you couldn't find it through the sea of ads in WC. Why use WC when there's a functioning search function. You type in no mans land, and bam up pops every clan that is running the eb sorted from just started to early out of time.
I can't see the point in complaining wc is for everyone to use, if you really want to speak to someone talk to them over pm or wall posting. Not trying to be a butthead here but if you haven't notice no one gives a **** off what you have to say in wc unless they know you and it is also showing off in a way to the people watching wc roll by. Yeah sure if you want to talk to new people you can always just post in wc: -I'm new and need friends -Does anyone want to chat If someone wants to they can follow you and speak in pm or wall posts for free without the need of speakers. If you want a new chat section get Devs to bring in and use the crew chat from gaw and you can talk to your mates there. Also ads aren't a concern any more due to the ad rule now and people that are still complaining about them are being morons and acting like kids, kicking unwanted people from a chat. I don't see you owning the chat and they will pay for the speakers that are needed to post. This maybe a shocker to you but some people do need help in ebs / war and there are clans that do need more members. Also I have spoken to many people on wc and clearly read what they had to say and they replied to what iv had to say so stop your complaining ****Just as a note to all I know I have posted this before and if you disagree with me take them to someone that cares**** I'm going to keep posting this on every thread that suggest they can't talk on wc
Speakers are a reliable revenue stream. So long as ToU is adhered to Devs probably don't or won't concern themselves. This is a job suited to a moderator. Adding search to clan events would be more logical.
