Okay so I was thinking today and was wandering how wars could be changed up a little. In EE you can be KO'd as many times as you regen (past 20%?) within the 2 hour period but what if the time limit was removed and instead there was a KO limit? For example, you can only be KO'd 5 times, you still have to regen past 20% to be able to hit again and only a certain number of crystals can be used within the war but once you have been KO'd 5 times you are knocked out permanently, eliminated. The winner would be the clan with the last man standing. This could also be used as a multi clan type war or a group of individuals in a FFA type match. I understand that there are still a few problems and kinks with this idea. Like the fact that It would be boring for people who are eliminated first, they just have to sit and watch the rest of the war. Well here's why it wouldn't work. Get a clan like zaft or any big clan like there cast a couple lbers with the gh combo or I guess rhawks would be a better example. The bfa and bfe of their sh would take down the "majority" of the other peeps. Then jus have there bigs sit open as you fail atks and scouts hiring your troops even more then a regular target. If you say 1-2 lber can't win you a war the look at my war history against -Elysium- ll-Adam-ll was full basically whole war very little succfsul actions against and just unloaded at will. Well that's not so bad right? Well now it's just going to em require even more towers and even more bfa. That is why I say no support I have no positives to add to it sorry
Yeah Hunter I understand what you're saying. Maybe this sort of war would be best suited to a FFA of lone players. Or even small multi clan maybe. I think that would counter most of what you're suggesting.
No because what would be considered small? And then the bigger people would complain because they don't have a chance to "compete" in new wars. And FFA would be the worst anwser it would be a "complex" way to match. You'd get gh/sh facing huge builds without bfa/bfe. But they have towers which make it impossible for a gh/sh to team up which would be hard to do as it is a FFA match. It's just not a good idea. Sorry. I have thought if the idea my self.
@ Hunter hmmm I suppose but I'm sure they could be worked out. If it were lone players match them with people their own size with similar bfa and bfe. That means gh and lb's will be kept seperate. As for the clan thing I'm not sure. I suppose if a large ZAFT clan was put in the same pool as me I'd try to take them out first and assume other clans the pool would have a similar mindset, kinda making it more even. I don't know how many clans would be in a single pool or how many people in a clan.
Hmm. Maybe if lone players entered in a certain stat range (bfa and bfe included), then mid builds don't get stuck agains gh or lb players. I'd really like to see an FFA war to the last kingdom if bfe and bfa were locked, of course
Why would u try to do that? If you got laoda or harbinger or anyone in top 50 it is impossible to bring it down. Not only that but how close would the devs consider to be close? You seem the ee match ups lately? Yeah most been a little off. Devs have enough things to work out. Maybe once they figure out matching system fully.
But why should the devs penalize paying customers by capping the bfa that the most likely spent cash to get? That is the problem with capping bfa. Why would they have the motivation to get more bfa if its just going to be capped?
And another thing. The people who joined the war without bfa/bfe would be matches with people who had it (its how it is now so don't say that wouldn't happen).
