PVP only avatars... Genius. I'd just like to say thanks also kaw_admin, for interacting with players not only on this but lots of other threads. It's really helpful, and I know I am able to look forward to far more things in this game than I previously was... It's cool.
Some how I knew kaw_admin using the term "build" in his post would lead people to think Kaw_Admin was talking about T6L4-5-T7. In short Build is a programing term. When you see things like KaW Version 1.8.2 ... That .2 would be the current build of the game.
I guess that's the point, we never said it SHOULD be earned through PVP. They are EB items, rather we want the ability to have items earned in different ways and a mixture of play. Will bump them shortly, but I warn that it won't be a drastic bump. They SHOULD be hard to get.
IMHO, this new feature should promote PvP hits and not FREE hits. A player that allows their kingdom to lose, like an OSF, should not grant the same bonus as defeating a similar kingdom in a fair fight. You could keep track of individual ELO ratings or activity to thwart those attempts to go around PvP. I'm sure that the Apes have mulled this over already. It's just a small concern of mine as we near the implementation process.
Ty for the response. I guess we have different views on pvp and also your responses here are showing that we really shouldn't get our hopes up too much re what pvp changes will offer. I will continue on my road to the point that eb and ee folk are too stacked to make my style of play no longer viable. Cheers Snr
kaw_admin, I know you guys are probably working as fast ask you can to push the new pvp system out. Though you got to know this recent spike in negativity will not fade till your costumers actully see the improvements made to off system and system pvp.
@kaw_admin: Will there be PVP exclusive equipment? That would be amazing if you guys could do that in the future. I just don't like doing EBs or EEs to even compete with everyone else. Not complaining, just asking.
@Kaw_admin- idk what part you don't understand. How will you dropping the scrolls from pvp help pvp at all? No one wants that. Except eb warriors who get them from pvp anyways. So what you are saying is you are wasting time to develop a way to drop scrolls from pvp. When that's the furthest thing from actual help to pvp. Here lets start with good ideas to help pvp. Increase plunder. And not just plunder. Increase the plunder earned when u hit a fully potted player. Who cares if people hit alt's for gold. They already hit eb, and that's less work than hitting an alt. Make EB equips gold sellable. So I NEVER have to take time out of my playstyle and be forced to EB. Who cares if people use gold earned in EB to buy the equips? Forcing me to EB to keep up with players who don't risk anything is not only unfair, its outrageous. Leave the equips as drops in eb randomly as it is, but make the EB equip gold sellable. Make it fairly obtainable to all since its a random drop and no work is needed currently to obtain the equips. Those 2 things (simple things) would do 100x more to improve pvp than any dumb drop of mith or scrolls from pvp. Quit wasting your time and ours guys. It's obvious the scrolls from pvp will be purely another cash grab, and thats exactly what pvp needs(\_*
