This idea received positive feedback in War forum, so I shall post it here for review. On a weekly basis there are complaints to the developers about the times chosen for war. During Season 2 there were so many complaints that a poll of sorts was conducted and the times were changed to suit more those who had taken part. This in turn has then penalised those who didn't take part and who can't war at those times. Essentially this is a war that can never be won, and one which gives the devs no happy ending as you can't suit everyone. The suggestion that I would make would be that instead of having a fixed set of war times, change them for each battle. If someone can't make a time on a Wednesday, it is likely that they also can't make that time on a Thursday for example. We need to let as many people war as possible in Asia, America and Europe, so the current three wars a day works really well. However just fluctuate the start times for them by an hour or two for each war. This will help greatly in Asia and America particularly where they have so many time zones. For example on one week the USA war could be at 6pm, 8pm and 10pm EST one week and 5pm, 7pm and 9pm another week. This gives people a chance to complete tvp if required afterwards and are doable during the week, and should cover the various US timezones. In Europe same thing - 6pm, 8pm and 10pm GMT lets UK players and European players enjoy at least one war a week. And again in Asia, perhaps using Hong Kong time which should still work for Australia I believe. Each week move those times to different days of the week so that people can't complain that they have to go shopping that night every week, or have to go and practice karate. I believe that by introducing this simple change, it will allow more people to war and fit the game in with their busy lives, and also contribute to the number of crystals spent which ultimately is good for you.
Excellent Crazy, thanks for bringing this up. One more suggestion is to fix the time such that both the players from US and Asia can also take part because most clans have a mixture of players from different regions.
Agreed - a 6pm GMT war is 1pm in New York so can be played by people with day off / work at home Mums and most if at weekend. A 10pm GMT war allows East Coast and West Coast US players to join in. A 6pm Hong Kong war is 9pm in Melbourne and 11am in Europe. A 10pm Hong Kong war is 2pm UK time. These wars would also get a good amount of participation, particularly at the weekend. Finally 6pm EST is 11pm in UK which is just about OK if an hour war. It is 10am in Melbourne and 3pm in San Francisco. And a 10pm EST war encompasses Hong Kong (11am), Melbourne (2pm) and San Fran (7pm). Again the devs can change the war times weekly, the objective of this ideas to just to fluctuate them. However I do not suggest opening up for people to vote for times, just run the wars and look at how many people sign up. Voting is counter productive because people won't agree as we are from all over.
