Re: Battle for a Cause - Typhoon Haiyan Relief 'Proceeds' So basically all profit made on a limited otherwise uncontainable expensive item plus all international taxes, Apple regulations, cost for bills and employees, cost of shipping to the Red Cross, plus probably a 10% royalty so the devs pockets are bulging. So about 25% of the money from a 4.99 crystal pack = $1.25. For one day. Not really as good as the Japan but whatever. Or you could just donate directly but that implies that you gain nothing.

All people do is beg for money and take it out of the pockets of people who need it. I'm not sure if this is one, but if I'm gonna donate any money, I'm gonna want it to go straight to the source.
