Hello my dear players, it is I, Caribou Today I am here to propose an idea that will greatly help the KaW community. Starter Clans These clans are put into the game for one purpose, to help new players get started. Player: Oh stupid Caribou, that's what the tutorial is for! Caribou: Yes, but the tutorial only explains buildings and battle. These "Starter Clans" will do more than that, now shut up and let me speak.\ Player: Continuing with my idea. These clans will be presented to the player upon finishing the tutorial. Players must choose a starting clan. These clans will have no owners, but will have "teachers" Teachers are players like Mods, VKs, and players whom the community have deemed helpful. These "teachers" will stay in the clan and help new players with questions and concerns. Clan Activities The clans will have constant low tier ebs running back to back. As players will be on and off, this gives them a chance to learn about ebs. Player: What about teaching them to hit other players? Caribou: No, isn't that what the tutorial is for? They also have teachers to help Inactive players New players who have been inactive for a set amount of time, i.e 2 weeks, or do not reply to the automated message sent out to all clan members will be automatically deleted. This is to keep the clan from becoming full of inactives Player: What if I want to bring in my friend? Caribou: maybe we can fix that The referral code system There should be a code that each player has to give to a friend, when the friend joins KaW they enter the code and are able to skip the starter clan, BUT The new player is automatically bonded with the player that recommends them for 2 weeks. Meaning the new player is automatically put in the referrer's clan, and follows the referrer wherever he goes. There will be no incentive/bonus for using a referral code. Graduation Once the player has been active for at least 3 weeks, or when the teacher deems the player ready, the player is able to leave the clan. The main purpose of this suggestion is to cut down on failing clans/ lower amount of clan ads, Keep new players playing the game, teach them how to play Ehhhh this is just my suggestion, hate it, love it up to you.
Are all sub clans successful and/or active? Do they have players that actually teach other new players? How are new players suppose to find sub clans? Most new players don't even know how to interact with other players.
And some people will just do the tutorial and delete KaW. If required to join a starter clan they might stay. Right thread this time?
