All Star War Clans: A Solution to EE

  1. Wow moose your having a low day?

    Wouldn't like this permanently just because warring with a team we know and like is fun.

    But it would be a laugh to trial it or even have a few tournaments based on this. Decent spread of times do full clans and a huge war ensues. Sounds like a laugh and devs should be able to balance the clans far more easily.

    On a more positive note, the upside to Phil's system is that it would be chaotic. Who are our trackers? Who's leasing this group? The chaos that would ensue from throwing random peeps together would be very entertaining for me
     
  4. A bit cynical today Moose. I get it. But you have to admit this idea does have a certain amount of merit. It is true "you cannot please all of the people all of the time." But I feel we do need to get away from a war system that has been analyzed and exploited to the nth degree by certain clans.( not knocking them btw) These clans are using game mechanics, loop holes, spreadsheets etc to stack for wins. Good on em. But man it really does take the fun out of this when to win u have to have so many GH, so many big attacks, everyone needs to be towered up. Spreadsheets need to be made of opponents builds, stats, bfa, bfe etc. then assign targets ( all this great but I feel it takes away from the intent.) you have to admit if we get random players thrown into a clan and say have at it. It would be a blast.

    As a side to make sure all players use mith and xtals those should be taken at time of casting. Then u can use em during war. This would prevent players that just want to cruise. Thoughts?
     
  5. It would be chaos. Which I like. But, it would also be a mess! Some people would just take a free ride, and the cc would be awful.
     
  6. I like it. The funnest EEs I've been in were when they first came out and nobody had any idea what they were doing.

    Whichever side managed to create the most order from the chaos fastest usually ended up winning a few.


    Point: Chaos is fun. When EEs are more or less down to a science, not so much.

    More chaos means less predictability and that means more fun.
    At least, more fun than now where we have clans that are specialised in tricking(no cheating there, just exploiting the many holes of the system) the matchup system combining tinny gh with large LB players or simply clans full with LB that strangely doesn't get no-match. And the result of these matches is 100% predictable.

  18. I support and even would like to go a step further. Make it so you CAN'T have roster looks of other team before war. Let's make this a hands down brawl of as close to equals as we can get. You'll get a ton more people to war and likewise amidst the chaos you'd also get more people across the board a chance to win rather than having to leave your clans for other clans who only concentrate on this. The way EE is set up right now has torn away some good friends from our alliance (and others) due to in order to be in a winning EE clan they need to be there almost all the time. Plus this will eliminate most mismatches if done right because teams will be set up as close to equal as possible.

    Even an easy system could be set up so devs don't have to work on it so much.

    Everyone who casts can casts will be placed accordingly.

    Odds from 1 - 100 in first clan vs. Evens in second clan From top 100 who casted
    Odds from 101 - 200 in third clan vs. Evens in fourth clan from 101-200 who casted

    and so on. (Just a basic set up above) There you go 50 versus 50 wars (can be adjusted for other numbers)

    Also to make it even more random have placement into clans 30 minutes before war, once placed you can cast mith. Have names of clans randomly generated to mess with trackers. Bam. Brawl city.
