For once... Just for once in HOW MANY years you changed the pay of pvp? How many times people have wanted you to improve the pay of pvp hits? Quite many Id say.. This time, you tried.. For some, it worked, for HLBC accounts it really didnt. As for me, my farm paid 7m more/ hit yesterday.. Now reverting back to same old.. Not pleased.. A news flash 90% of your players could care less about your fail EE wars. Just do the math how many clans / players sign up versus clans / players in whole community. For ONCE make pvp pay better TO ALL players and increase that aspect of game. Dont think just your fail EE wars.. What drifter said about game mechs though is spot on.. A GH should not be able to make more gold than T5 BC hansel.. Why would players spend
Omg make your minds up devs ps I just unloaded over 1.5 trillion in allies and banked it in bronze bars are you going to refund my lost gold now I need to get my allies back . starting to think you are wasting my time and gold, when you can't make your mind up what's best for kaw ps please reply to me or maybe you just don't care about your players wasting gold
And in addition to my previous.. Why would players spend years in building HLBC account with BFA, when some 2 month EE vet can own them with their shiny GH!! Get real or get out
Thank you kaw admin. Just a thought about solution which does not hurt anyone: If player A hit player B, than player B can retaliate with the same average plunder per hit. Isn't it all about in balance? That means if guild hansel can hit someone with 50m and 50% chance, 200% troops lost =(12m average per hit). Then same target should also be able to retaliate with 12m avareage per hit (instead of 1 mil). If the balance works, there is probably no need in any plunder caps, they make things only more complicated, you can work on your strength in many ways: stats, bfa, bfe, pots, etc. Not limiting plunder to a fixed level, alowing any player to grow as long as they can efford.
@invisiblebridge. Yeah easy solution. I see your towers. Uhm no, i saw wrong. You'r a GH asking others to sacrifice their already silly plunder on you. This is a 9+ game but that doesnt mean all here are 9 years old kids or brainless adults.
I can see the intention in the change to plunder to calculate BFA in a kingdom's strength, after all, (prior to BFE) BFA was the deciding factor between HLBC kingdoms. However, the backlash here seems to stem from the fact that BFE wasn't included in the change, which wasn't fair on those that spent a fortune on their allies. Also, running this as a global change was a mistake. Use the EE weekend test wars to trial this sort of thing in the future, and you'll get a better reaction since ppl will know they are testing something that may not go global. Please try this again as a test, including BFE as well as BFA to calculate a kingdom's total strength for plunder, and see what feedback you get then.
Respect to the devs for realizing that they made a miscalculation. As per usual, no disrespect intended by my post(s), nor do I claim any responsibility for anything pretty much ever (unless I've pissed you off mightily, in which case, wall/pm me) That being said, this is, imo, the best course of action until further action can be taken, but it's not...and never has been...about any of us individually.
Another possible fix is. Lets say player B hits player A. If player A drops defensive pots, the plunder of player B should not decrease. Or (may be even better) if player A drops defensive pots, his plunder from attacking player B will drop in same ratio as for player B hitting potless player A. Thus keeping the plunder equation in balance.
