Changes to plunder

There aren't tho not with the current mechanics u need 10 t in allies to even help then u make even less gold its better to not have them at least when hitting those that do u can get a plunder advantage urself this doesn't only affect gh mechanics it effects go across all builds just most apparent in gh ... An attack build with ten t in allies can't make as much plunder in 1-2 hours fixed action count as an Att build same size hitting them ... People with bfa become a sorta leak unless ur so high (top 50 or so lb allies) I can't get thru .. But with pot and equip differential I can get thru on most and I'm not Hlbc

    Lets put this in simple 1v1 terms if I hit a player with 10t in allies I make around 75 mil a hit when they hit me they make 25 mil a hit they would have to hit me 2/3 more times then I hit them per war just to even out

    In wars under current troop loss mechanics best I can hope for is 24-26 hits per unload same for him over 3 full bars and 2 hours of regents that's around 100 attack actions for each of us in the same time spam if we only Att and never lose troops to inc

    If I only won 30 and he won 70 it would only even us out not give either of us an advantage in war he's 10t larger the account

    That in itself is pretty bad but here's the kicker I will win far more then 30 % because of pots and equip and he won't even have a change to try to reach the amount of actions it would take to get close to catching my plunder made
     
  2. Oh and btw we had gh type builds that only pay out a max of 15 bil per hit to the attacker .... They were hitting the largest builds in the war and making as much as 200 mil a hit against them

    That's just crazy plunder and no way for a clan to make that up unless they field the same number of the smallest Hlbc builds in the game to counter
     
  3. I fought two nights ago - and I had a tough time getting through using full pots and outdated equipment (irrelevant anyway I think)

    I am also not hlbc.

    So how were you able to make it through successfully?

    (I naively thought they had changed mechanics of bonus from allies ;) )
     
  4. They changed the amount u receive in plunder if u have a ton of allies (making it far less) not the bfa mechanic 10t in allies doesn't buy u a lot of protection from half decent equip and the pot disadvantage and yes I tested against a 10t account to get those numbers tho I did round them off

    10t buys u at best around 100 mil to def stats (more like 70 mil with war builds ) that's barely enough to cover the large pot not to mention I have a 30 mil advantage from equip over his and we both have ok equip not even the best

    Without any atk eq additions def is already at a disadvantage (pots eq)

    How could anyone possibly fail?

  6. Wat? Who said anything about a new def pot?

    The large Att pot has no counter in def pot which gives u an automatic 65 mil advantage when hitting which translates to about 1.2 mil cs so I can hit a build of 6.4 mil def stats both full a large percentage of the time .. Most war builds can't move their stats that far to Att otherwise they leave themselfs open to spies ...
    Most war builds at Hlbc are around 5.5-6 mil def with half decent amount of stars allocated to spy stats

    In this players case he was 5.4 mil def with much higher spy def and 10t in allies give or take a few bil
     
  7. Hmm.. An 800,000,000 bil ally will give me roughly 5 mil in stats in def (just throwing it out there)

    That's not including the percentage of bonuses from their allies too

    That still runs me at a deficit of that new attack pot (def eq included but not attack)

    10 (8T dollars) of those will give me 50 mil in def ally bonuses

    That's still not enough to cover the cost of atk eq

    I smell new defense pot!!
     
  8. Wowww. 31 PG, 307 post and many of them very well writen(not as mine) and devs still no reply about this BIG CHANGE issue.
    Or they are using "alts" to reply? LOL
     
  9. Why is it every issue the players ask for one thing that they know will help balance the game and devs then completely mess it up giving us something that totally messes up the game.

    Solving the guild hansel exploit was simple.
    System wars each build pays a minimum value. Bigger builds naturally would of paid above that level.

    Instead the devs ce up with a fix that affects and messes things up for every player in kaw. Especially those who live and breathe osw.
    Totally the wrong move and overkill in my humble opinion.
    But even more importantly with such a drastic change.
    Why was their no discussion entered into with the kaw community. Surely a change this big should of been of been announced a week or so in advance giving players the chance to feedback their thoughts.
    Losing any player is not in the interest of the game. And changing osw and pvp plunder to sort out an EE exploit is pure overkill and a bullet to ones own foot.
    Devs please consider your players responses and resolve the concerns.

    If you are only going down this direction. May I please pose a suggestion.

    If you want to decide BFA to plunder. Please than do this.

    Plunder from attacks are only affected by
    1. Static Attack and defense attributes
    2. BFA to ONLY attack and defense

    Plunder from steals/ assassination/ scouts
    1. Static spy attack and defense attributes
    2 BFA to ONLY spy attack and defense

    Reason is simple. Why would we want to play a hansel if for example we have like a huge additional spy attack and defense, and are easily hit by new t5 warriors who have no BFA, as it would mean a hansel would need at least 300m per BFA to attack and defense to challenge someone whose static stats are at 6m/6m.

    The reverse is true for steals. As warriors with low spy attack and defense are susceptible to young BFA-less T5 spies.

    If you like to go down this plunder way. Please at least balance it and go stat for stat. Differentiate spies, warriors, hansels and tower builds. Make each role different. Enhance the game. Make it fun. But never penalize your LB players please.

  11. Good effort from Devs trying to improve the game!!! BUT.... you have made the worst tweak ever. this adjustment just doesn't make sense coz it marginalized one group just to help the other group (assumed weaker).

    what i see as a better solution is that the plunder algorithm should remain unchanged but change should be made to the bfa algorithm. for example, 2% bfa can be reduced to 0.2% or 0.02%. how this benefit the community, IMO.

    1. The bullying will be reduced drastically since most hlbc can hit any hlbc more easily as the bfa is not going to be significant anymore

    2. It encourages more PvP as i know i can now return hits knowing i would not get 90% failure rate. It's no fun knowing that you would get defeats even before you fire!!!

    3. It frees up the ally market as ally hoarders can no longer farm another for buying ally without facing retaliation.

    In a nut shell, the main issue is that the bfa contribution (2%) is too high. It is also easy for the rich to buy bfa. reducing bfa contribution to 0.2% or 0.02% affects everyone equally and improve the balance the fire power.

    the key differences would now be bfe which should be left untouched. war equiped is hard earned.. not something like bfa where you can buy account and volley transfer. you should war hard and fight to be leader ... not just paying and stay on top LB (just because you have rich parents or good job) and bully weaker ones who buys an underpriced ally.

  14. This thread becomes too big to read, but i can see that the change is done in a very harsh way and 99% of the community do not support it.

    Dear developpers,

    - Please rollback the change ASAP before more damage is done to ATA's pocket and KAW community.
    - Please make a new thread to solve a potential problem(s), advice possible solutions first on forum before implementing them and make a short time frame to allow to test them.
    - I believe BFA played a major part in kaw strategy from the early start, please do not diminish it's importance.
    - There are a lot of great ideas could be discussed to solve similar problems. I think kaw admin should manage such threads to filter out ideas, and allow community to test them.
     
  15. The devs did say, " Season champion clan will get clan Trophy which will gives good clan bonus to all members, until the final of the next season." I was just wondering what you guys got and if it ended with season 1 of ee wars. Or do you get to keep it until there is a season 2 of summer wars?

    Osw:

    It costs you 70 mil for full pot use. That means if victory is 100mil person is only making 30mil

    30 mil times multiple failures at 70 mil does not equal profitable.

  18. Picture is different from ally lb perspective. OSF/OSW broken too.

    I'll document my tests and findings in an email to ATA and see what happens. Right now my feeling is to retire.
