There is a perfectly useless button we all i have in allies chat. Replace this with something useful like a commerce chat. Only time wc is good is when there is trivia or some idiot is getting silenced. The rest are just pretending to be important.
Maybe they should have some kind of warning to the fifth person to prevent him/her from getting silenced
u save up on 25 speakers so you are effectively silenced for next 5 days. A bit harsh on you it seems.
Not happy with this at all, everything seems to benefit the already big established clans. It seems more and more that you either sell out or fail. First of all the ee wars which I dont have a problem with but did cause us to lose a lot of strong members, then these really big ebs that only monster clans can complete have also caused us to lose a lot of members. The only time we can do a big eb in our clan is when we pick a popular eb and ad out and have guests ad out to fill the clan. Thank you devs for looking out for the lil guy. :roll:
It is now 5 days since this thread was started & as i read the thread there are more people who are against the rule rather than an in favour. Even those who are favoring this rule have some reservations. But we have not heard anything from the KaWGods(Devs & Mods). I am not getting any good feelings about this. Does any one really listen to what we all are posting here, Does the Player opinion count any more or is it big clans ruling the roost. I am a noob by many standards but i dont see any good coming out of this rule apart from satisfying some souls who call 3 lines of hello as chatting. God save the KaWorld
How can you even implement this? WC history barely extends past a minute or 2... It cannot be automatised since you specify that even advertising for a clan you are not in will be counted... How will you "review" the posts? Also, many ads do not even include words, but make use of iconography to advertise instead.... It looks to me like the only way to implement this is through mods and it looks like a hell of a job to actually enforce it... Unless you get an obvious 5-10 messages in a row...
THIS IS STUPID UPDATE! I'm not surprise though because its from ATA! Rofl As Eb guest, most are not familiar with names of clan members so we won't know if any are in Wc within 5 minutes. And when Eb is running short on time everyone starts getting panic, let alone have time to memorize names of members in the clan. 5th member of clan who help posting ad out of kindness get punished? If there is anyone to be silenced it should be a player named bp who spam wc daily with bp = ________. Though content is different but the message is similar. So what have "respectable appointed Mods" do about this? NOTHING! *In sarcastic tone* ....."Thanks for being so considerate ATA!" U guys are just plain ........(please fill in the blank)
Hello "Smart Devs". We (apple user) can only see NEW Clan events that has started within 1 hour. So your new "smart rules" will make it difficult for players to search for Eb they want - because everyone will be too cautious. Less Clan ads means harder for us finding Eb. Are u favoring Android players who can see much longer list of clan events? Smart Devs already make it hard for all clan members to participate in estoc war because of limitation of members. Good rule but maybe an ad chat should be introduced for ads only including ally trading chats also making world chat totally a means of socialising.
@love, that is why when I am looking for a specific eb, I post in wc and always get around 5 ads on my wall, just from one message.
I used to be on iphone but now android and can see much more ebs from clan events even eb that has been goin on for hours so i find eb i want from there. But most small clan still need more clan ads after so many members scattered around kaw for other eb or war. Even war clan need war ads. There are too many new clans because of what devs do with limit on members in war. Clan members no longer stay faithfully in clan. Big players leave to find bigger clans. NO SENSE OF REAL COMMUNITY
