Apologise if this thread already exists I've read loads about towers in war as a defense against spies but does anyone have
Yes. They provide a static defense . Say you have 3mill spy attack and 6 mill spy def. @ 100% spies, you have 6 mill spy def. @ 0% spies, you'll have the full 3 mill spy def. So you see, useful in OSWs, as they can stop steals, depends on the amount of static spy defense you got. You can read more about towers, from wulf's land and building guide.
And they have their uses in EE wars. Purely meant for PvP, wouldn't help if you meant to EB only with the build.
They would destroy your plunder and be completely useless if all you do is eb's. you have to decide if the plunder loss is acceptable to you.
The mechs work the same way. If you have 75% of towers, you can be DTW to attacks if you keep spies @ 0%. Note : Doesn't work in EE. The static defense, works the same, attack tower or spy.
OSW? HLBC pure spy with nothing to lose The best. Ever. EE? A mixture of towers and your spy buildings. Although if you start putting towers up early, your sacrificing plunder and hampering growth.
Read up on spy mechanics in war . You really have no use for towers in EE and towers are only to help you sleep a little better in OSW. I have found that items are just about as good as towers for a hansel build.
I hate towers, and don't use them. I've never done EE war, but in osw my essential function is striping gold, and pot burning. Money is better invested in allies, and pots.
3sdeftowers 3deftowers 24sos 5atkbuildings 12 volaries Golden hansel for ee. I was in one with him and it was miserable trying to ko him.
