Fair play on banning users breaking ToU but I'm just curious how you would know a said 'accused' persons screen resolution or the fact pc users can have multiple windows open at once all resized and up at once so how exactly do u get the exact coordinates of where a person is clicking?

Seems like this person is rather stupid, considering that would bring attention to themselves.

I am basing my information on full screen. Because, if the window is NOT full screen, and is placed to the side (where the likely possibilities are), the UI interface changes. I assume that this program (like 99 % of other programs like it) reads the window in question. It doesn't read the screen.

This would make it STILL in the exact same spot, just slightly smaller scale.

So, it doesn't matter if the screen is full screen or not, it will ALWAYS be the same spot, just a smaller/larger scale.

 

Can you guys not make your own personal investigations, or can you only investigate players once reported?

Was Momma and Poppa even reported by a player if so, or were the devs the one to take the intiative?

 

I agree that MB and PB deserved to be banned if they did indeed use a bot program. Which I fully believe they did based on the evidence supplied by the devs.

But I do not agree that publicly humiliating 2 kaw players in forums is necessary. I believe it was unfair and inappropriate. If you are truly unbiased @Kaw_Admin then why do this in the middle of what may be the biggest OSW of kaw history?

 

Wow, I wonder how much the KaW ratings in App Store will down from 1,000 1 star ratings from APOC.

 

Why would kaw_admin lie and ban them for no reason. He even said they were spreading info in community that it was easy to get away with. Someone probably in HoG reported him.

 

Its a game, and to the Devs a job. most probably because if they wasn't in an osw no one would be trying to hit them and no one would know because no one would want to hit them whereas when they are dtw to all the different timezones it will become obvious. A complaint by one player would not suffice but a complaint by many from different TZ would alert them to it.

If those apoc players give kaw a low rating in appstore, they are directly responsible for lowering their own future enjoyment of a game they love as it becomes smaller with a low rating. Fewer people notice the game exists, and we end up playing a dying game, and all this while supporting someone that may be guilty after all even if it isnt easy seeing a friend banned and very hard to not side with said friends.

No cheater has ever admitted to being one if they had a chance to deny it.

I read all the pages.

I m not asking for "evidence" of botting. I am asking for your legal proof n evidence in disabling/banning someone who has paid for your game.

If a player downloads a free App n flouts the app's rule and regulations, by right, the App had the rights to disallow usage from that player.

However. The matter is much different if that said player had paid a sum to continue that game. Once a "fee" is assigned. By right, the game is now owned by the said player. U may wish to advice on behaviors etc. but no way (I stand corrected by a legal consul) are you able to totally ban that player from the game. In this case, you not only ban, but made that player lose tonnes of their own spent cash on the game.

I respectfully ask that you do not yelp on "I have proof" and so I can ban the accounts. It is a tautologous argument. I know how Apps are made. Hell, you can even see each individuals log in, chat, PM, cc, and even know how much each of us have spent in game. Legally. Once the player pays for the game. He/she can choose to play the game in any way they feel like. An auto clicker is also a program, a frowned upon way to play, but still, it is a legal way of using a program. U can prevent someone from using an auto clicker by your auto log off on PC/Mac, but you cannot ban him in playing in that manner he seems fit.

My advise is to let Mods help make the game enjoyable by reducing spam, vulgarities etc.

As Devs, your aim and objectives are to improve the game such that players enjoy it, regardless of whether they decide to spend money on the game. Having an eagle eye and micromanaging does not make u popular nor correct.

Kaw is still a wonderful game and your programming is smooth and well organized. My returning to Kaw is due largely to many factors including making and meeting up with old friends etc. I hope you (especially the new crew to ATA) do not continue to make the game less attractive by encroaching on legal issues.

@Drian - How about you look first at HoG's history and discover they haven't run an eb in 20 days. That and the fact that your larger "circle" (before it was deleted) included the attack/spy buttons. Please do some research before you try to prove a point. I won't even begin to address your comment on why bother botting on anything other than an eb. Oy vey.
