I recently started replacing guilds with SoS. When I had replaced the first one, my plunder actually increased by about 500k. I was shocked! Now I have another and it had increased by a total of about 1mil. Does anyone know the reason behind this? Thanks.

 

Yes. You have less than 1/3 SOS so plunder will rise

 

Guilds give more plunder than SoS do.

 

The plunder may rise, but not by 500k with an SoS with that formula.

You will likely find that after the initial increase, the plunder will start to decrease gradually, or even in big steps. This is why its better to stay with guilds and explore lands and place guilds, or volaries in the highlands and then convert your SoS later.
