First of all credit where due to the devs for listening to the community and for trying a new matching system. However. You have implemented a war system that is now based on actions and strength. All things being equal this means the bigger clan will always win* If this is the case, rather than trying to make the closest match, logically you guys should be trying to find a viable handicap system that means anyone can fight anyone regardless of numbers. Wars cost massive in time and effort and to simply say that because there is no 'mirror' clan sometimes you will be faced with an opponent you have no chance of beating isn't good enough. It's a game based on numbers. There is a fix. *This includes tactics for the purpose of this discussion. Whilst superior coordination and tactics can help overcome a stronger opponent if the match were fair in the first place this wouldn't be an issue.
Totally agree with pumm and asthma. Wars are no fun when they are lopsided - winning or losing them. There should be some kind of fail safe there so if there just isn't a decent match for your clan size/strength then you aren't forced to war. Failing that - an opt out button for 3 admin to push after matchup? You will always get ppl not happy with match ups. Eventually, these will cause clans to stop participating as the potential reward just isn't enough to outweigh the chance of an impossible matchup, certainly near the top where it's very likely! This will also discourage clan stacking, which can only be a good thing for the matching system. I really hope you take pumm's suggestion seriously - this could be make or break for estoc wars. Boo.
Timing, timing and still timing of war, sometime got to wake up early and sometime got to sleep late for war, can look into the war timing please, some of us just wake up and found ourselves being KO without making a single hit, so the timing for the wars should be adjusted.
I like the idea of the 2 hour war through the week I work weird hours n if you had a couple match ups a day would be kinda cool. I know you guys are bombarded with questions seems like your trunk to do what you can to make things better. I like the all-star war idea I just hope I am part of it n little more mith pay out would be cool.keep up the work ur doing ur on a roll.Rember you can't make all the people happy all the time if you get more than 50% your doing g a great job. Does the new clan match up take into account BFA ?? All Star Wars. Best players? How will this be determined? Highest successful actions, plunder earn't ? those who absorbed most hits being their clans meat shield? Highest ko's, who contributed the most hits towards getting a ko as opposed to getting the last hit? Every players performance will vary per war depending on how lucky they are getting targeted. but I'd lay odds that selection would favour Hlbc with higher BFA In which case expect to see a couple of stacked clans dominate the tournament and subsequently field most of the tournament final line up. Increased rewards for four hour wars and same for two hours. Two hours should be same earning percentage, but any increase would be appreciated. Are you also going to add in a multiplier for ff wars ( please disable ff in two hour wars )
KAW Whilst it might be appreciated with your investment in sys wars , please do not forget that there is a reasonable amount of LB clans involved in OSW. I for one would advocate a higher allowance on myth purchase so if I wanted to purchase unholy aura for a strip I could as at the minute I'm limited to only having 6 myth. I d love to see more development from the developers in this area as its still a very important part of KAW.
Also support for the "no match up could be made" on the basis of strength and members numbers including BFA Warring far stronger clans that you cannot hit most of due to BFA is no fun for any and as pummellor states these become whack a mole for the other clan. Wars where you get one hit out and take 20-40 in even after an xtal are insane. The lag/ spinner is insanely bad with players often ko'd before they know they are up. Yes it's good teamwork by opponents, and our clan but at the moment there is too little balance. I've also had "you have less than a minute" for two minutes multiple times and the less than 0 minutes multiple times. How do you get less than 0 minutes. Each time followed by regen troops to you don't have enough troops to perform that action followed by your ko before doing anything. And had others state the same from other sides. That must be addressed
There needs to be other ways to earn mith .. Such as BL drops. I have an idea, make sort of a bounty system. You receive a random target around your size, and have to take a certain amount if gold from them to get your mith reward
@ Devs. you clearly did not read any of the posts regarding the changes to system war payouts. your a bunch of greedy mediocre programmers who care little for those who dont have hours on end to sit at computers like you do. you should make mithril available for purchase with gold or introduce new EBs with mitril rewards instead of gold otherwise the lop sided top end of kaw will push even further ahead... with the removal of tower effects you have already made the high bfa players untouchable while the rest suffer now you are giving them super strong equipment that nobody else can get their hands on. your a *insert whatever you think necessary* joke. for years we have reated you 5 stars and pushed you on our facebook pages and you reward us by making the game top heavy. well i hope your happy cos your destroying this game.

Looking forward to seeing the roll out of the non trial version Estoc. I like the idea of shorter versions but also like the 4 hour model. I really would like to see a system war with Estoc function that can be used for training. Doesn't need mith payout but needs flexibility of numbers and timing so new clans and players can learn and gain skill. And more experienced can fine tune tactics and strategy.
The introduction of EB to end PW was a well thought out system. a way to earn plenty of gold as well as earning bonuses, without the need to be online for long periods of time. The end of mithril rewards is the opposite. now players who want to get strong enough to compete are required to spen 4 hours straight warring on the chance that they win and make some. Its flippin bulldust! mwars hardly paid out any mith anyway and to increase payouts required the use of many many pots (putting growth at a standstill). Just so you can line your pockets with more green by selling more regular xtals. introduce a new system to earn mythril that doesnt require so much time on the game all in one hit. some of us have things to do that stops it, and the other thing is that these stupid wars are run at specific times only... how friggin unfair is that. i have now seen many suggestions on new ways to earn mithril and one/some/all need to be implemented. *EB bonus are changed to mith or mith is added to the bonuses (this would encourage a lot more players to do a variety of EB especially if different EB pay out different amount of mith) *Available for purchase with gold (remove the cap on how much we can purchase then it becomes a level playing field, this wont ruin EE wars either because if you have time for them they are a lot of fun) these are two of the more commonly suggested ones but im sure there are others and feel free to make up more devs were not limiting your supposed creativity... something does need to be done! its more unfair than the botched matchups
would it be possible make the knock times somewhat random or allow us to choose when to come from knockout like between 20%-40%? I wouldn't mind a 4 hour war so much if we could not stay glued to our phone or computer on a minute by minute basis. ...................... A friend of mine suggested a mith buying system but make the mith go up as we buy it rather then by lands bought. That way for those who really cannot war due to life getting in the way they can buy it but it will cost a arm and a leg EX: first mith is 1bil next is 1.5bil. since it goes up rapidly it would discourage people from buying it past 6 because it is a huge gold investment. Keep in mind that was just a rough example.
pshhh try and live in australia.. i cant do any wars because they arent time friendly.... they need to kick off EE in 2 hour form every 3-4 hrs so that everybody can participate. but the donkeys dont take into account people outside their timezones
oh yea i forgot... lol... you nuffies need to account for the BFA in your botchy matchups... work into youe simpleton algorithm the BFA and CS as well as clan numbers. to make matchups as fair as possible you are going to need to do some complex math. generalizing is just lazy and wont cut it. In each clan add the BFA and CS of each player and use that as the stat that each player holds to work out the rankings. then find the closest numbers match to size match. at the moment its just not working. if you cant handle the complex nature of the issue then you need to scrap it and start fresh.... but wait... that might mean you sell a few less xtals... omg... we cant have that... pshhh
Cool devs. Hope it works. Making the all star wars part of the deal is a smart move. Lots more players will join in that want there shot in the all star tournament.
I'm bit slow and i dont get it what's cool here. Lag still need to be fixed, bad number matchups still need to be fixed. @Fractal. Yes, we'll see. But, the stupidity of those pagliacci that are trying to develop this game it's not a memoryless proccess. I can see the quality of their precedent updates and predict with 85% of probability more bad updates. They still dont consider BFA on matchup. 2 months now and i'm still waiting
