You still think its not fair??? Do this: 40 (members) x 4 (number of unloads done during the war) = 160 unloads. Then do 2 (number of extra xtals provided) x 40 (members) = 80 unloads. Add them : 160 80 = 240 unloads by the smaller clan. The bigger clan has 60 members without the extra xtals. So do this: 60 (members) x 4 (unloads per 4 hours war ( 1 hour = 1 unload.) ) = 240 unloads. So it's the exactly the same number of unloads
I see what you are saying here, but anyone who has EE warred before knows that being at 100% troops, if even for 5 seconds, is 10 x more advantageous than being at 25% 4 x. How many ko's can one person score 3 hours into an EE war when everyone is out of xstals and hitting from >25%? Answer: A LOT! Especially if that person is huge compared to the others and they are unable to score successful actions on that person. This is just a bad idea all around. My clan has beaten another clan by FF and that clan outnumbered us 60-80. yes, they had inactives, but so did we. It's about strategy and teamwork in EE wars.
I think it's a step in the right direction but still not thought through fully. Taking the example given, the clan with 60 will have 6 potential unloads, 1 for each hour of war and 2 for xtals (total 360). Using the same maths the clan with 40 will have each 8 potential unloads each (total 320). Better than it was but still not even. There should be some better way of equalising the potential actions. Almost there but not quite. Still a huge step forward so I vote yes until we can refine it further.
Ok, I understand the way you are thinking. The risk however is that it may cause even less warring as commiting to 4-5xtals per war is pretty much considering the cost. You might war once instead of twice and so on. This may only add to the problem then. The balancing issues im sure you will work on, but two xtra xtals is pretty much considering the already strength matchup. So what to do... Make it possible to exchange mith for xtals!! That way an investment in more xtals might refund some xtals. You need to find an appropriate amount, but 50 mith per xtal sounds like an idea. And with mith payout removed from SW there is less problem doing this. How about?
I just find it extremely humorous that devs pretend there is a "vote" and that anything any of us say is taken into consideration. Bottom line is the devs make every change in this game with only one motive: to increase RL money spent by players. So my vote is: Whatever.
I see a lot of complains about buying xstals and so. A solution could be to make aqua exchangeable for xstals... After all u can trade xstals for aqua why not make it both ways?
For those of u not on pc and unable to see the vote, the tally so far out of 275 votes is 39 in favour and 236 for the not in favour.
This is ridiculous i say no the war times are crazy they should keep it how it is and forget the whole idea
And while I'm on this rant, I've gotta rant on proposed changes to system wars. It's a bad idea, no, don't do it. I vote no way. System wars have never been very rewarding. Usually the winners would just about break even, considering gold spent on pots. Nerfs to the system war just encouraged pwars and mwars. System wars will probably be even less lucrative now. Yeah u make more per hit, but without the 20% bonus you'll either lose money or break even due to the cost of pots. EE wars don't settle genuine fights between clans or deal with aggression. But EE wars are now the only worthwhile "war" in the game. With this change the system wars are useless, since a system war now is basically an off system war (OSW) with an arbitrary time limit. Clans that are fighting about something don't need a time limit when they can just do an OSW and carry on until the losing clan surrenders or is ground to pieces. There's no incentive to do a system war, there's a disincentive actually due to time restraints. I hate OSWs - they go on endlessly, they cause people to declare that their allies are "not for sale", which is ridiculous and puts a damper on trading. (Some of the big LB players will hit or even farm you if you buy their allies by mistake). An OSWs' main purpose is not just to damage kingdoms for bragging rights, its purpose is to destroy kingdoms entirely and ruin whole clans, causing some players to leave the game. I'm all for the fighting and aggression to be back in the game, but not through OSWs. I'm not saying OSWs should be banned somehow, I'm just saying there should be a real in game alternative to OSWs that damages kingdoms but doesn't destroy them, establishes bragging rights, and is lucrative enough to be worthwhile. Instead of weakening the normal system war, devs should be making it better so that clans who have grudges are more incentivized to use system wars to fight each other, but the wars should be organized in a way that they won't be abused for pwars. Maybe have the losers suffer some penalty like a temporary or permanent loss of some % of stats, or one of their buildings or enchantments might go down a level or something. Or maybe winners take the money they've earned, plus some % of all the losers allies or gold, even if that gold is banked. Or, with war tax gone, maybe the winning clan should get the 20% bonus on gold they made during the war anyway, without it coming from a tax on participants. Kind of like a drop. Give out Mith in these wars too, but only to the winning side. To avoid system wars being exploited simply don't allow them between clans that have more than say a 20% - 30% difference in strength or something, including strength from bfa, that might stop people using their alts and friends for phony pwars, cuz the kingdoms on the losing side would lose too much, so it wouldn't be worth it to the losing team to participate in any pwar or mwar. Just some crazy ideas. I'm sure most of them wont work. Sorry to rant like this but I'd like to see the 'war' come back into Kingdoms at War.
